How could you?

Annie looked at us with a strange expression. Finally, she broke the silence.
"What the hell were you trying to do?" The way she should just made me lose control.
"We don't owe you an explanation. How could you cheat on someone as sweet and wonderful as Asher. With Johnny Orlando of all people!"
"Listen, what I do is none of your business. And just in case you need an incentive to keep you it mouth shut, Asher will be beyond devastated if he finds out. Which means that he will be in no condition to fall as pathetically in love with you as you are  with him. Who are we kidding here, you haven't had a single role in an year and I just got a contract to model for Gucci. I am more successful than you in every way possible. I could destroy your career, what little of it is left anyway."
I was going to reply but Asher came to us and before I could say anything, Annie put on a sweet smile on her face and said that we we were just chatting about the Gucci contract. If I hadn't just had that conversation with her, I would have believed her. Soon Asher went away.
"You know, if you put half that much effort into your acting career, you would really go places", I told her. Annie is notorious for her terrible acting".
"Says the girl who was rejected to for every role. You can't even get a cameo in a web series.you are completely forgotten now." With this reply, she strolled towards Asher and soon they were laughing together.

I felt another piece of my heart disappear.
