FOR TEN SOLID DAYS NOW, EVELYN ROBIN HAS BEEN SICK TO HER STOMACH. She couldn't stop throwing up, certain smells made her nauseous, and parts of her body were even more sore than usual. She didn't know what was wrong with her, and she intended on finding out what was going on today. But first, she had to wait until her husband left for his business trip.

He smiled before leaning down and giving her a kiss that made her heart flutter. When he pulled away, Christopher leaned his forehead against her own. "I love you."

"I love you," she echoed.

With another kiss, her husband was off.

The moment his cart was out of sight, Evelyn took a deep breath and rushed back inside their home to grab what she needed. After securing a brown cloak that smelt like a mixture of the forest and Christopher around her shoulders, she grabbed her coin purse off the table and left in a hurry.
