Kai's POV
"Well, well, well. Telling your new boyfriend everything huh?"
Rebel stepped forward and glared at him.
"He isn't my boyfriend douche bag." She said cooly
"Sure does look like it. Your hair's a bit messed up babe." Jason smirked.
And with that, Rebel pushed him down on his ass and put her foot on his chest, pulling out a small knife and pressing the button on it, making it a huge crystalized sword. She pointed it at his neck.
"Rebel...," I said, a little scared, "Kindress remember?"
She softened and leveled her gaze at the price of crap guy she was staring at.
"Reb you actually told him??" He looked worried. More brotherly. But it didn't fool me.
"Yes," she seethed, "you don't control me anymore Jace."
I pulled her off him and let him dust himself off and shoot us a cocky grin. Rebel struggled against me. That's when I turned her around and kissed her, pulling back and matching his grin.
He growled and stepped forward but Rebel got her sword again.
"Enough. Jason. We found P.K. we need to go back."
"Really?" God his eyes doe.
Yeah. This was gonna be fun.
"It's me. But, I like Kai."
He laughed and wiped an imaginary tear.
"In your dreams." He chuckled
I focused on his face. I had only done this w/ my mom, or my fake mom or whatever but I tried to send him a telepathic message.
'Convinced yet?' I thought
His eyes widened even more and he slowly nodded.
"OK let's go." I said wrapping my arm around her waist.
She gave me a small smile and pulled out a remote to open one.
A blue blob big enough to let 2 people go at a time opened.
"You gotta show me how to do that." I muttered in her ear.
She smiled even bigger and winked, "In your dreams, lover boy." As she hopped in.
