"Stop!" I was yelling, "Stop!!" The bus ahead of me stopped due to my noise. I jumped on quickly to see it was empty. The driver had a distant look in his eyes, face forced towards the front window - looking rather strained. He then turned. I one long motion, he turned his face slowly to face me.
"Can I help you?" He said quite slurred.
"Oh, no. Got on the wrong bus." I said, deciding that I'd rather walk to school than bus with him.
I made for the door, but the driver hopped in front of me, throwing me into a chair.
He then began to drive. Fast and furious. I began to scream, hitting against the glass.
"What's happening over here?" Came a shrill voice coming from the upstairs compartment. The figure began to come down the stairs. A woman appeared. She seemed old and alot like a witch in fairytales. In other words, not friendly.
"Who 're you?" She yelled when she saw me.
"Ah, Lucie. Just another stray." The driver replied.
"Well, we better take you home the. Dont want yer getting lost an' hungry all alone do we?"
"I'm fine, thanks." I said, maybe a bit too quickly.
"Nah, we will take you in. Only for a night or two though." The woman (or 'Lucie') reassured before taking me under her arm. "You're one of us now." Giving me a toothless smile.
