Me and yumeko got to the school within 10 minutes. She said she had to get something from her locker than we had to go to the student council room so she could introduce me.
We walked to yumeko locker and she grabbed a few things. Including a deck of playing cards. "alright, now let's head to the student council room" she smiled and lead me to the student council room. "why hello yumeko" said a girl with 2 braid like hoop things. I don't even know what to call it. "what do we have here?" The one that said that looked to be short with a sucker in her mouth "hello, I would like you all to meet my new adopted sister, she will be in year 1, her name is y/n" she smiled and motioned her hand over to me. "oh ya! Yumeko has a sister! I hope she's as crazy as yumeko!" I looked over to the girl that said that and yumeko looked like she was gonna murder the girl that just yelled that. "midari, come near my sister and so help me I will chop your head off and feed it to a dog." her saying this didn't fase me. "come on yumeko can't you just forget what happened and forgive me?" "No" yumeko was being a cold. "I said I'm sorry!" "and I said I don't care" at this point I don't think that girl, what was her name? Midari? Could have done something so bad to make yumeko like this. "yumeko what did she do?" "nothing!" jeez this girl seemed kinda desperate to be her friend "yumeko you know everyone deserves a second chance no matter what they've done" yumeko grabbed my hand and started leading me out of the room. Before she could fully drag me out of there I looked back and mouthed a 'sorry' to midari. She looked really upset and mad at the same time.
"well, let's see who's first who's first" yumeko said as she was looking at everyone around her "first for what?" I questioned. "First for you to gamble against of course!" My eyes widened. "No, no, no i-i hav- I don't want to gamble just yet" she turned around and looked at me with a sad face "why not?" "well, I had a bad past with um, gambling and I don't think I'm ready to try yet" she looked upset but then hugged me "it's alright, take all the time you need! You can always gamble with me!" I smiled at her, for these past 3 days she's been so cheerful. From what I hear from other people it seems like she could go a little insane when gambling and I don't know if I wanna be there for that. "well y/n you should get to class! I'll see you later!" I waved good by and went to the first class I was supposed to. I've never really liked school so I drew in class most the time and almost never payed attention. During first hour I saw the girl named midari in the front of the class with her legs going over the table, no one talked to her so I'm guessing she has a... Not so good Reputation. For most the class I was drawing, the teacher didn't do anything, people were gambling and no one was learning. I definitely wasn't used to this but as long as we don't learn then I'm fine. After a bit someone slammed there hand onto my desk, when I looked up it happened to be a boy. I rolled my eyes and just went back to drawing. "so your new eh?" still drawing I slowly nodded hoping he would go away. "what's this huh?" he snatched my sketch book from my desk and I instantly stood up. "this looks like shit why do you even try" he started ripping the pages. "stop it!" i snatched my sketch book back and stared at him "or what bitch" he pushed my onto the ground and I dropped my sketch book. He was about to step on it until he turned around after he heard someone tell him to stop. It was midari. "leave the girl alone, she's new and doesn't deserve this shit from you" she was calm when saying this but the guy wasn't, he looked mad but scared "just cuz your part of the student council doesn't mean I have to listen to your psycho ass" the guy backed up as she smiled creepily. I quickly got up and went behind midari before the guy could pull any thing. "do you wanna get shot?" I backed up a little bit when she pulled out a gun is the teacher not gonna do anything about this? She obviously realized I backed up cuz she assured me she wouldn't shoot me. The guys and his "manly squad" ran away from midari after she pulled the 'i'm gonna shoot moves'. "thank you" midari turned around and smiled "no problem, but this is a school that gambles why don't you gamble?" My eyes went to the ground. "I just... Don't like gambling, I've had a past with it and rather not gamble" she put her hand on my head, she was definitely taller than me. "if it makes you uncomfortable then that's fine, but if a student council member challenges you, you should really not refuse it. It would give you a horrible reputation and everyone will make fun of you" she walked past me and back into her seat. "I don't care what people think about me" I crossed my arms and walked back to my seat. Ugh he only ripped a few of the good pictures but not many. The bell rang which meant I could go see yumeko, I don't know if I should tell her about what happened in first period. I know she obviously doesn't like midari but if I told her midari stood up for me would she still get mad? I mean, just because yumeko doesn't like her doesn't mean I have to hate her too. "y/n!" before I could turn around to see who it was even though I could already tell it was yumeko, I almost fell onto the floor. I guess yumeko is already attached to me. "how was your first hour?" "it was alright but, some boy came up to me and ripped my sketch book and pushed me on the ground" I went to show her my sketch book but before I could she went running to find out who the boy was. "wait yumeko! Midari stood up for me so everything is okay!" I smiled but this time she slowly turned around and she looked like she was gonna murder someone, and I think that someone is midari. Yumeko kept turned around again and headed to her next class, which I'm guessing has midari in it. I guess me and yumeko have the same class too. (I don't know if in their school they put all years in classes together but let's pretend they do, also im sorry for this terrible writing. 🙃)
I heard yumeko yelling down the hall and I booked it to the room.
Mary's p.o.v
"should we run after them?" I asked
Ryouta looked at me awkwardly and then started running to yumeko and y/n "ok then that's a yes" I ran after all of them.
When we got into the class yumeko was standing in front of midari and midari looked like she was begging for mercy. Y/n was behind yumeko not knowing what to do and ryouta was by the door as everyone else was either minding there own business or looking over at yumeko.
Y/n p.o.v
When I ran in yumeko was in front of midari as midari was begging for yumeko not to hurt her as she sat on the floor against the wall. Seconds after I ran in ryouta and Mary ran in after. I grabbed yumeko shoulder and pulled her back "yumeko midari helped me not hurt me! You need to calm down a little bit" yumeko looked at me and then midari. Yumeko didn't say anything she just walked over to her seat and sat down. I watch her then looked back at midari. I walked over to midari and held out my hand "I'm so sorry about yumeko, I've only been her sister for 3 days and she's really protective, ill talk to her later and try to work things out. Just because she hates you doesn't mean I have to" midari took my hand and I helped her up and she gave me an upset smiles. I felt bad for her, yumeko was a bit too mean to her. I sat down and the day basically went by pretty fast and I may or may not have fallen asleep in most of my classes.
*time skip to home ;)*
When we got home I threw my stuff on the ground and fell onto my bed, right before I fell asleep I put on some random show and went on instagram for a while (again I don't care if they don't have instagram they do now, sorry I'm gonna be dumb for the rest of my life)

I clicked on the profile and realized automatically knew who it was, it was midari. I added her back and scrolled through instagram and then went to take a nap.
(I suck at writing please don't come at me 😩. Also I got a bunch of reads within only a few days 😂 I'm pretty sure cuz this is one of the only midari x readers cuz the rest are just one shots. So I gotta post like every other day. Welp good luck to me 👀)
