Everyone hurried to sit on the carpet. "Good morning everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful time so far. Most of you already know this but I'm Mr. Washington and I'm going to be your teacher this year. We're going to do a social exercise and get to know each other a little more. It's always good to appreciate everyone's unique talents. Especially your own." He then passed out a paper to everyone and a pencil.

"This is called a find someone who worksheet. You neesdd to go around the room and find someone who has done something listed on your paper. When you do, write their initials on the line. If you need help reading or writing anything I'll be right here. Now go forth my children!" Everyone immediately started going to different people and asking questions. Someone tapped me on the shoulder and I turned around. She had long black hair and a blue dress. She smiled. "Hi, I'm Elizabeth but you can call me Eliza." "I'm Y/n! Nice to meet you." "It's nice to meet you too! I was just wondering, do you fit under any of these?" I pointed to the third one. 'Who has a pet at home?' "My initials are (Your initials). What about you?" She pointed to the 9th one. 'Who has a relative at school?' "My initials are E.S." We thanked each other and went to find another person.

I looked around. I already asked everyone, so I just decided to put myself there. I put my paper on Mr. Washington's desk. "Now that everyone is done, we can begin our learning adventure."

My head was hurting. Who knew there were more than 10 numbers? I can't remember much that happened but I knew that it was time for recess! Once the bell rang, everyone including me ran outside. I looked towards the other side of the street and saw another building. It also looked like a daycare.
