Sean was just chilling at the aquarium looking into the fishtanks trying so hard to flirt with a girl but soon enough she just walked away leaving him to sit there tapping on the glass.
"You really shouldn't do that." A soft and quiet voice came from behind him. He turned to make a comment back but nobody was behind him.
"It startles them when you do that."
This time the voice was next to him. There stood a girl with very vibrant hair. She kept her head down never looking up. Sean recognized her voice but couldn't exactly remember how.
"Don't I know..."
"No!" She interrupted quickly.
"We've never met before." She shyed away before he could say anything. When he looked back at the tank all of the fish had shown back up but only where she stood on the right side of him. He was about to go look for her but then two guys showed up.————
Long before then

Sean was just chilling out outside his house because he couldn't sleep when out of the corner of his eye he saw vibrant red hair. Sean took his chances of getting yelled at by his parents and decided to follow the person. He finally caught up to her but something seemed different about her.
"What are you doing out so late?" He said with a smile. She kept her face low and took interest in her shoes. Slowly stealing a quick glimpse at him she saw how he was smiling and her cheeks felt warm. She was blushing. Her hair began to turn pink. She instantly felt more shy and backed away from him she was caught just wonderful her brother will surely lose it when she gets back.
She's a mutant a very nervous yet powerful one at that.
"Holy crap your hair...changed." Shocked by his words she looked up at him finally. Her eyes were such a bright crystal blue. It kind of caught him off guard for a moment and let's just say cue the embarrassment.
"Wow you're pretty." Her cheeks darkened and so didn't her hair.
"I'm uh...Sean...Sean Cassidy." He couldn't look away. Somehow the small bit of nervousness from him made her feel a little better. "I'm River." She mumbled and he could swear he felt his heart stop working for a moment. God she's so cute. Sean tried to keep it together but she could hear what he was thinking. "Your pretty cute too." She whispered hoping he didn't hear. His breathing just came to a halt immediately after that. Part of him didn't know what was going on but another part of him didn't mind it. She was a little confused about why he was staring. "What is it?" His face was a little red but he managed to answer well more like do there wasn't much talking involved.
Mainly cause he just up and reached out and touched her hair. She shivered and suddenly his eyes went wide and he kinda shot himself backwards apologizing.
Her hair was changing again.
He seemed like he was about to run off terrified but River grabbed hold of his hand gently. "Don't tell anyone please." He stood still quietly for a few seconds. "What would I tell to someone." He asked confused? She shyly mumbled. "If my brother finds out that I'm...different I'll be sent away... again." She muttered the last few words. Tears formed in her eyes but she bit them back. "What's so wrong with being cool?" Sean laughed. River just stared at him as he laughed, "What did you just say?""I said you're cool!"
