Erik and Charles are so stuck on gathering fellow mutants to help them understand their mutations more that it took one of their own students by surprise that they hadn't spotted one person who he's had his eyes on for a while. He's seen her around...
Backstory: River was born as normal as any other human it wasn't until age 5 when her ability's began to show. It all started when her hair color began to change, her mother would constantly dye it to keep her from being found out about. When she turned 10 her parents were in a bad car crash her mother was able to create shields as well as had other mutations and when the crash happened she made a shield around River and her older brother Aaron. Rivers brother is a non mutant but when the crash happened somehow a new mutation was awakened in River, power absorption. She absorbed all of her mothers abilities and since then felt determined to keep them hidden, but as time passes it becomes harder to control them which made her become shy and scared of others. Now age 19 River has been raised ever since that day by her brother Aaron and his wife Marissa.
