I wake up, trying to move to stretch but I feel this weight refraining me from doing so. I open my eyes and look to see Alex asleep on top of me. I try to get out of his grip, but his grip only tightens. Making the smart decision, I stop before his grip gets too tight.

I pick up my phone which was on my right side and go on Instagram. I tap on Alissa's story to see a picture of me and Alex asleep. I text her to send me the pictures she took and put my phone away. I hear a door open and I look to Natalie who probably just came out of the bathroom.

"Hey Nat," I whisper.

"Hey. Finally decided to wake up," she says a little loud which I quickly tell her to whisper.

"Cute," she whispers.

"Shut up."

"Anyways it's 8 PM. I already ate dinner and I assume you both didn't so you both should probably eat. You know we have practice tomorrow," she reminds me.

I groan at the fact of practice and start to wake Alex up. I poke his cheek a couple of times as he mumbles, "Stop."

I continue to poke away as he grabs my hand and rests his head on it.

"Get up, it's past 8. We need to eat dinner," I say.

"No, we don't."

"Well I do, I am hungry and have practice tomorrow." Selfish much?

"Fine," he mumbles. He hugs me tightly at first, more like almost squeezing the life out of me, and then proceeds to get up. I get out of the bed as he asks, "What should we eat?"

"Um, you choose. I'm down to eat anything," I replied.

"Let's go to In-n-Out," he says, grabbing his keys. I nod as I grab my key card, wallet, and phone. I stuff them in my pockets and we head out.

We get in the car as I take the AUX and Alex's phone. I play NO BYSTANDERS by Travis Scott.

"Heartbreak hotel, bet you can't take no L's! Plug like AOL! Who said I ain't gon' sell? Hand me the H, I'll sell," we sang in unison.

As we made our way to the fast-food place while jamming, I may or may not have taken some selfies and videos and posted it on his Instagram story. Well, he can see later.

He parks in a parking spot as I protest, "Alex, we are not going in. I literally look like a mess."
I was not lying. While jamming I put my hair in a messy ass bun and was wearing the same joggers and hoodie. With slides.

I didn't hear a response from him so I turn to look away from the mirror and to the driver seat as I realize he isn't there. Did his bitch ass just leave me?

Suddenly the passenger side door- where I am- swings open as my legs are pulled out and a hand grabs my arm and pulls me out. I land on my feet and collide into Alex's chest.

"Let's go," He says, grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the entrance. We walk in and proceed to order. After ordering I pulled out my card but Alex clearly wasn't going to let me pay.

"Alex, let me pay! You paid last time," I argue.

"No."

"Fine, can I tap your card though?"

He looks at me like 'why.'

"What? I like tapping the card," I say. Probably gave away what I'm trying to do. Surprisingly he hands me his card and I take it. I turn and quickly slide my card underneath his and tap it so it looked like I tapped his card when I actually did my card.

"Smart," the cashier says with a laugh.

I smile and turn to Alex and hand him the card. I tried to slide out my card underneath so when he pulled his card, I would swiftly pull my card into my sleeve without him noticing. Yeah, that backfired. He pulled both cards and noticed my card under his.

"Really Jazz," he says.

"You love me."

He rolls his eyes and puts his arm around my shoulders pulling me close. "You're lucky I do," he says as he uses his other hand and messes with my already messy bun.

"Hey! Stop," I say smacking his hand away trying to escape.

"You guys are such a cute couple," the cashier says.

We look at him and go to protest but we get interrupted by our order being called. The cashier attends another customer so we just grab our food and go sit in the car.

"Well, that was fun," Alex says as I pull out the food from the bag. He plays some music from his phone at a low volume as we dig in.

"Mhm," I tried to say but I have a delicious burger stuffed in my mouth.

"Especially that compliment," he says. I look at him with wide eyes and choke on my burger. He bursts out laughing as he hands me the drink.

"You are going to be the death of me," I say, recovering from my coughing fit.

"You love me," he says smirking.

'You're lucky I do," I say with a smirk and ruffle his hair. He leans back to only end up hitting his head in the window.

Now it's my turn to laugh.

We finished eating as we collect our trash and I get out of the car and throw it away.

"When is your first game," He asks as he reverses out of the parking spot.

"In the day after tomorrow."

"Expect us to be there."

"Definitely," I say as I play Middle Child by J. Cole.

"It won't be for clout. It won't be for fame. It won't be cause my shit ain't selling the same," I sang along. I look at his phone and see it's 10:30 PM.

"Damn, we really spent almost 2 and a half hours for dinner."

"It was worth it," he replies looking at me.

"Definitely worth the tiredness and extra work to put in practice tomorrow."

"I make everything worth it," he says as he parks in the underground parking lot of the hotel.

"Shut up, I am the one who does that. I graced you with my presence this dinner," I replied as I get out of the car. He also does.

"You don't have to walk me up to my room, Alex."

"I could," he says.

"Do you have the energy to go up, and come back down?"

"Um, for you, yeah."

I shake my head at him as he smiles.

"It's okay, you should head back. We both are tired."

"Fine. If I don't see you tomorrow then I'll see you on game day," he says pulling me into a hug.

"Better be wearing my jersey," I say.

"Of course," he laughs. After a bit, we break apart as he goes to his car and I walk to the elevator. Just before the elevator door closes he waves as I wave back. The doors slide shut, as I hear his car speed away.

I walk into my room with a smile on my face and quietly pull out some shorts and a tank out of my suitcase. I quickly change in the bathroom and toss my clothes on top of my luggage. I cuddle into the blankets and fall asleep.
