Cryostasis

2. after years of being left behind in a cryopod by your own father, ninja from the sand village find you in your cryostasis pod after receiving an anonymous tip. they send out letters to all villages with a lengthy description of your features. Nobody claimed that you belonged to their village. The leaf asked for you to be left under their care to perform a series of tests and the kazekage agreed to send you over. 

A Kakashi Love story even though this is the only part to the story (I like Kakashi too much-)

         Garaa sat behind his desk, rereading the letter word for word to make sure he wasn't just making things up. After the third time reading the chicken scratch handwriting, he stood up hastily and called for an ANBU. He came in a whirlwind of sand that fell to the ground and disappeared not a moment later. Mask in the shape of a rabbit and serious eyes staring through the eye holes. 

          "Sir." Straight forward and disciplined. 

          "I need you to gather your team and head to these coordinates." Garaa handed the masked man a piece of paper, the male briefly glancing at it before storing it in his pocket. 

          "I received an anonymous tip about a girl being held there, essentially frozen in time. However, I'd advise you to be wary while scouring the grounds, It could be a trap." Garaa faced the window, folding his fingers together behind his back. A small gust of wind blew at his hair, telling him that the man had left.

          The ANBU were quick to locate the area, somewhat surprised nobody had seen the worn down shed like building before. The group of five entered cautiously, hands near the pouch on their thigh to prepare for any attacks.

          When they entered they found boxes upon boxes. They opened a few only to find things that looked to have existed years ago. Every surface was covered in an extremely thick layer of dust and anything that was in the boxes was extremely outdated. One found boxes filled with clothing and other things of the like. It was filled with flower printed nightgowns and other dresses. Another box held kunai and other ninja equipment. It was all very odd and they had yet to find the girl that was being held here.

       The ANBU with the rabbit mask quietly gained the attention of the other four and motioned towards a doorway that was being covered by a tarp. He pushed it aside for the others to enter and went inside afterward.

          They paused at the doorway, a large blue cylinder the only thing being in the room save for another box that sat next to it on top of a square table. No, the cylinder itself wasn't blue, whatever inside it was blue. An ANBU with a lizard mask approached the cylinder that was glowing blue and wiped away the dust. The cylinder had a cover made of glass and when he wiped away the dust he could see what was inside. He stepped back at the sight of a woman. Her face was frozen in mild terror.

          Eyes wide, mouth slightly agape and hand pressed against the glass. Her hair was frozen around her, in a way that made it seem like it had been floating before the strange liquid had frozen. Lizard placed his hand on the container, finding it strange that the surface was warm instead of the expected cold.

          Rabbit pushed Lizard to the side to see what he was looking at and stared into the brown eyes of a woman. He looked around the container, seeing if there was some way to turn off the machine, remembering that the Kazekage had said that she was trapped, meaning that she could be released.

          A red light blinked in his peripheral view and he looked over. It was a small section on the container to the left of the door with three buttons. He pushed the blue button and the strange frozen liquid inside began to warm up and drain out the bottom, refilling a different. thinner container attached to the side of it.

          The girl inside began to move, continuing with her previous reaction but froze when she saw masked faces instead of her father. She looked at them in confusion before trying to open the door. It stayed closed.

          She looked for a way out but was quick to come to the conclusion that the only way out was if the masked people had let her out. She looked at them once again and waited for them to finish what looked to be a conversation. A woman that wore a coyote mask approached and pushed a button. The door unsealed and the girl stepped out on shaky legs. She looked around the small room before making eye contact with the Rabbit and falling. The girl landed in the arms of the Coyote before fainting.

          The ANBU looked at each other, the whole situation was strange. Rabbit looked in the box to find papers, explaining the experiment but not how the machine worked. The very top paper explained who the woman was but not where she came from or if she had any living family members.

          Rabbit grabbed the box and looked at his team.

          "Coyote, you'll be carrying the woman back to the Village. Lizard and Vulture, you take the box of clothes and the box of ancient objects. Jaguar, you protect the team while we go back to the village. We'll come back with a bigger team to grab everything else, including the pod." Rabbit ordered, and they all sprung into action, grabbing their respective boxes.

          Coyote adjusted the girls' position in her arms so that they would both be more comfortable on the way back.

          Everyone gathered outside. They gave each other a curt nod before heading back to the village to report their findings to their Kage.
