1. you die and get reincarnated into the Naruto universe. a cliche trope but just look.

- youre a track star, meaning you run really fast without the use of chakra.
- once, when you were a kid, you couldn't sleep and your house was broken into by some robbers. you panicked and hid under your covers because you believed that the blankets would protect you. one of the robbers walked into your room and rummaged around quietly before leaving. ever since you've never been able to sleep without a blanlet even if it was unbearably hot.
- you were murdered by someone you don't recognize. wrong place, wrong time = murderers type.

You gasp and sit up, patting yourself crazily to feel for the wounds that were supposed to litter your skin. You sigh in relief and hunch over, glad that it was just a dream. But it didn't feel like a dream. It felt real. So real that you could remember the events in order with no strange fuzziness or white haze covering someone's face. You blink and stare at the grass below you. You blink again in confusion. Last you remembered, you had been in some sort of damaged, falling apart, rotted building in probably the middle of nowhere. Not some forest.

You push yourself up to stand and internally wince at how stiff your skin felt, covered in built-up grime and now dirt. You look around yourself, at the trees and you only confuse yourself more. You walk over to a tree and slowly slide your hand down the trunk. These trees were weird. These trees looked painted, like from a drawing. You stepped away and turned to look at the other trees. It was also weird how they looked familiar. You stop your thoughts, no longer able to ignore the gross feeling on your skin. You press your fingers against your skin and drag them down, revealing the grime that had accumulated. Your ears twitch when you hear the sound of running water.

You push past the bushes, the sound getting louder and louder before you eventually stood before a river. You gaped at your reflection in the water. Your once 20-ish body was now reduced to your pre-teen years. You smiled at your reflection sadly and remembered how sad you had been. How much you had struggled with the concept of self love. You smiled and slowly peeled away your clothes and then getting in the water. You rubbed at your skin and scratched off the grime, removing it from underneath your fingernails.

While bathing yourself, you couldnt help but notice evrything you had previously seen as flaws. As you stared at yourself more you found them to be cute and whished you hadn't removed them from your body by either intense workout or covering it with what little makeup skills you had. You promised yourself not to do that with your new chance.

You throw the rest of yourself into the water with a large smile adorning your features, letting the soft waves of water carry you around for a moment before plugging your nose and dunking your head under water to wet any hair that could've been dry. You get as much dirt off as you could before tossing your hair back over your shoulder to wash your clothes.

Grabbing your undergarments, You submurged them in the water and rubbed the fabric together for a few seconds, momentarily wishing you had soap, before smacking it onto a somewhat clean looking rock to let it dry. You did this to your remaining clothes and continued to mess around in the water while your clothes dried. Eventually getting bored, you hopped outside of the water amd grabbed your clothes and put them on, not caring that they were still wet. You stared at the river in thought before snapping your fingers and walked in a random direction but staying close to the river.

As you walked you observed your surroundings, your ears twitching at the noises that surrounded you. You froze, hearing a twig snap and you stared in the direction, trying to will your eyes to see through the plants to see who was there. Your ears stayed tense, pulled back like how a deer's would perk up when they heard something. The world suddenly seemed to go quiet, the only thing you could hear being your heart hammering inside of your chest. You forcefully put your ears in their natural place and slowly began your trek once more but you never stopped searching for what could've made that sound.

The world came back to life and you could once again hear the birds chirping but the second you heard another branch break under the weight of whatever was watching you, you bolted.

You could hear it now. The soft, almost quiet, thump of feet hitting the tree branches, following you. You forced your legs to move like they would when trying to win a race. However, a body was suddenly thrown at yours, colliding and throwing both you and the stranger into the river next to you with a loud splash.

You gasped in pain, the air escaping your lungs as the other person's elbow dug into your gut. You lifted youself out of the river, coughing up the water that made it's way into your lungs and continued to do so when somebody had lifted you from the back of your shirt. You held your stomach, cradling the injured area. You watched the water to look for the culprit only to see a Blonde boy burst through the surface, pointing a finger at the person holding you up.

"What the hell was that for Kakashi Sensei!?" He yelled and the man, now deemed as Kakashi, shrugged his shoulders.

"It was the fastest way to catch her." He said lamely. You hung like a ferret being held by their scruff and Kakashi carried you like that all the way to who knows where.
