"mommy when are you coming home, i miss you" reese spoke up with a pout "tomorrow night love bug i promise. you're having fun with dave aren't you?" i said letting out a sigh because i not only missed her, but i missed david as well. "he bought me ice cream and took me to the park mommy!" she said excitedly "oh really! no way that's unfair." i spoke crossing my arms playfully "don't worry lav i'll take you to the park and buy you ice cream when you get back." david joked causing reese to let out a giggle.
"is kenny there?" david asked as he shifted reese on his hip to he could sit down comfortable "she actually just left. claims she has a date." i said wiggling my eyebrows. david let out a laugh before shaking his head at my antics. "you know i love you right?" he asked all of a sudden turning serious "dave i'm you're best friend of course you love me." i said sending him a look. "no lav, i mean that in a love you and i want to be with you type of way." he spoke still serious "david you're crazy." i tried shrugging it off although my heart was pounding in my chest. "lav-" "i have to go. i love you love bug i'll see you soon." i said before sending her a kiss and hanging up as david tried to protest. "i love you too." i whispered as i set my phone down falling back onto the couch letting out a sigh.
