"Dad, have you seen my tablet anywhere?!" shouted Mervyn. "Son, if only I knew where your precious laptop was I would tell ya, but unfortunately, I do not know where it is at" spoke his father. With a big groan, Mervyn continues ramaging his room in searching for the device that he relies heavily on when it came to college.
He knew he should have not turn off the location of the tablet, he was currently running out of time. Mervyn had to get to psychology class but he could not take notes without his laptop. Papers were not an exceptional route in taking notes since every student were to have a laptop to do every single task in.
"Ibon, search for Mervyn's laptop" spoke the boy as he quickly throws on a heavy coat over his black sweater to save time. "Searching for Mervyn's laptop" spoke the robotic device as it makes a scanning noise while rolling around the apartment. When Ibon was searching for Mervyn's tablet, the boy could not help but hear a bunch of masculine voices projecting their opinions and statements about the glass wall that separated them from the females who has impacted their lives.
"How can you tell me that I cannot be with my wife and my two daughters?! They need me!" shouted one.
"My sister is in there and she cannot handle being alone! She is only five years old! Our mother has died years ago and she has nobody with her!" shouted another.
It was endless. It would and has never stopped since the day the walls have been put up. "How do you think mom is doing?" Mervyn questions his father. His father tiredly moves his eyes to meet his son, shaking his head as he grins at the thought of the question. "Honestly, I think she's yelling at the crowd for being too loud. She was never fond of loudness" he responded as he looks back down at his own tablet as he proceeds in his doing. "Yeah, that does sound like her" Mervyn said.
Ibon returns to Mervyn and has said that the laptop was located. With relief, the boy follows the robotic device to his bedroom till it stops beside his bed. "Mervyn's laptop has been located under Mervyn's bed" said Ibon. Groaning in frustration, Mervyn kneels down and then sees the laptop beaming as it was located by Ibon. With a sigh, the boy pulls out his laptop and then sat on his messy bed, lifting the top portion of the laptop. He browses onto his account of the college he was going to, seeing that all of his professors have cancelled classes due to the weather being horrible.
"That's great. I would have more time to work on my assignments" spoke Mervyn.
Mervyn's father has stood up from the chair of the table as he prepares himself to head off to work at the hospital that was created for the male side. "I am heading off to work, Mervyn. Do you need anything after my shift?" he asks. "I do not have anything in mind, thank you though" said Mervyn as he types away on his laptop. The dad shrugged his shoulders and then grabs his coat off of the coat hanger before heading off to work.
Ibon has rolled in front of the young adult and blinked his electronic eyes. "Would you like to hear the news about today, Mervyn McCloud?" ask Ibon. "Sure, why not?" said Mervyn as he continues to type on the keyboard.
"Okay. Today, Persimmon Saphire will be returning to Armacova with new ideas to apply onto the people of the community. He has spoken to other countries on how to improve his own and how to be a better leader to better himself and for the sake of Armacova" spoke Ibon. "Interesting. Sounds like a load of bullshit" Mervyn said as he shook his head with disbelief.
The robotic device continues on with other news, however, the boy was no longer interested in whatever else Ibon had to say about the day. His attention was more onto the assignments he was trying to complete and the riot that was still happening outside of his home. He was annoyed by the loudness that was happening. Perhaps he has inherited that trait from his own mother. Besides the loudness, he just knew that there was no hope for anybody to truly project their voice towards the government and Persimmon Saphire himself. "Just go home would ya?" questions Mervyn as he slowly closes his laptop. "Nobody is going to hear you."
