My Fault

Walking to the school building was always a challenge. Even after all his training, his body was still quite small.
In half an hour he had mud all over his shoes, was sweating bullets and still had a fourth of the mountain to climb.

He still had 45 minutes until school started so he wasn't worried about being late. He was more scared of acting weird amongst his friends. He knew he couldn't mess up the timeline to much or their future selves would be affected. Digging his hand into his pocket he brought up the vial. Staring at it's contents he sighed.

"What you got there, Nagisa?"

Sugino asked. Nagisa startled almost dropping the vial. He glared at Sugino.
"Woah man, sorry to scare ya," said Sugino.

"No it's fine. Just not expecting you."

Sugino grinned," So, what is that?"

"It's nothing," Nagisa lied swiftly. Sugino raised his brow but didn't say anything, not wanting to push Nagisa.

They continued to share some small talk all the way up the mountain, but Nagisa found it very hard to keep up with Sugino. But Sugino liked to talk, and his continuous blabbering filled up his memory.

Reaching the classroom was akin to something Nagisa would call Nostalgia Nirvana. Everything brought memories.  The desks, the chairs, the rickety sounds of the floorboards, all of it made Nagisa feel at home.

And it scared him.

He hadn't let his guard down in a long time. After graduating and starting his careers, he almost always was on high alert. Yet now in the presence of one of his closest friends he felt at home.

They sat down at their seats next to the windows, and talked about the most nonsensical things.

That was when Nagisa realised something. While his classmates were trying to kill Koro-sensei, he had to try and save. While looking like he was trying to kill. He had to act like he was along with them. But had to save sensei. How was he going to do that? He wasn't the best actor. He barely remembered what had happened. His marks would change, his technique, his way of speech. He was going to fail. Their plan was going to fail. Koro-sensei was going to die. Again. And was his fault. Again.

AN:

Honestly, I think my chapters are getting smaller.

This chapter is mainly filler. I'm trying to show an older Nagisa through what I know about him from a younger age. I hope you guys can see that.

Also, recently, I have slightly changed tactics. Nagisa is hiding someyhing from Karma. Comment if you think you know what it is.

Hope you enjoyed!
