Back in Time, to save our teacher( assassination classroom fanfic)

What's going on?

Nagisa POV:

Nagisa was in no rush to get home. He had just finished classes for the day and was tired.  As he walked at a steady pace, his mind began to wander off. His legs decided to work on autopilot. He thought of the last few years of class that he had. He thought of the long prolonged conversation that he had with his mother. However, he mostly thought of class 3-E  He smiled softly when he thought of Koro-sensei. The pain still lingered even though it had been seven years. He could easily say it was the best year of his life. And he missed it. He missed all of them. 

As he was comforting himself in the silence of the empty streets his phone started buzzing gently in his pocket. Swiftly taking it out he  glanced briefly at the phone and frowned. The number was unknown to him and apparently his phone. However, it was a nearby area code so it could easily have been one of his students or colleagues. After a brief moment of hesitation he clicked answer and put the phone to his ear.

He then softly said, "Hello?" Immediately a familiar voice was ranting back at him. He wanted to cut the line but he heard his name several times in all the gibberish so he continued to listen. Soon the mystery caller calmed down, and Nagisa quietly asked, " Who's this?"

"Nagisa it's me, Nakamura Rio! Baka Nagisa!" Ah so that's why the voice sounded familiar. 

"Nakamura-san? What happened?"

"Did you not just listen to everything I said you baka!?!? You know what just- ju- just get over here!"

"Hai," said Nagisa plainly and then continued, "but where is 'here'?"

"At Itonas lab!" And then the phone promptly shut off.

Nagisa was surprised at this but decided to play along with Rio, just for the heck of it. 

Turning around he felt suddenly grateful for taking it slow today leaving him enough energy to run to the lab. After 20 minutes of just running Nagisa arrived, completely out of breath. He just realised how out of shape he was. After taking a minute to regain any energy he knocked politely at the door. It took a minute, but soon the door was opened and Nagisa found himself facing a much older Kayano Kaede. 

"Kayano-san?" Nagisa was very surprised to see her. Though they were keeping in touch he hadn't met her in over two years. In that time her acting career had blossomed once again so it was a very big yet pleasant surprise to see her. She, however, did not look as happy at this impromptu reunion. In fact it seemed as though she had just arrived as well. So he did the only logical thing at the moment and ask the question: 

"What's going on?"
