• dominic is such a sweetiepie that when he does get jealous it hurts your soul
• usually very excited to meet your friends
some love him bc of him golden retriever personality—most do
• but some... do not
• that's where an old lab partner from school comes into the picture
• they found you on instagram one day and decided to hit you up
•you've been chatting with them ever since
• and going out with dominic, you bump into them
• he automatically introduces himself, and doesn't miss the sour look that passes by your friend's face before they mutter their name
• dominic goes very quiet when jealous
• this is pretty scary bc he's literally always the loudest motherfucker in the room
• but talking & walking with this friend, he's almost completely silent
• hands in his pockets, eyes on the street
• nodding along to the conversation but he's not really listening. just in his own head ):
• you don't really notice, too invested in an old friendship
• but since the silence continues even at home, you confront him about it
• "it's nothin'." he mutters while shoving bread in his mouth
• avoids you when he's jealous—blames it on working on songs
• short conversations
• will just get worse and worse if you don't address it, cause it's obvious he won't
• "dominic, what the fuck is wrong with you?"
• will flinch when he hears you so upset and annoyed
• bc he's stubborn, he'll probably just shrug it off again
• ends in a mini fight, resulting in him screaming at you about ur friend
• ur shocked, ofc, since u didn't even notice and he didn't say anything either
• "i was just—bummed out. 'm sorry. i shoulda said somethin."
•ends usually in apologies and a sweet, intimate dinner
• and lots of teasing the next time that friend hits you up lmao
