THIRTY EIGHT

We went home after our shopping. Sana and Mina bid their good bye and then we went in. Dad was there in the living room, sitting on the couch watching TV. They all greeted them good night and went in their room. Momo took a sip in his coffee and hugged him.

"Appa, I'm so tired today." She whined.

"And why my baby is tired?" Dad asked placing the remote on the table.

"We hangout today and it was so much fun. But you know, unnie didn't let me buy a stuffed toy." She pouted frowning at me.

"It's okay, I'll buy my momoring next time. Good that you enjoyed. Now go and rest okay?" He said and Momo nodded. She got up and kissed his cheeks before leaving.

"How was your day NaYeon?" He asked making me jump out of my place. 'How did he know when I'm behind him?'

"Perfect." I said massaging his shoulder and back.

"I have something to tell you." He said grabbing my hand.

"Did you find..." I said in excitement but he cut me off.

"There is a hope. Maybe next month." He said turning to me. I hugged him happily.

"Thank you, Dad. You're the best."

"Thank your mom. She made it possible." He said caressing my cheek.

"Where's she?"

"She went out of the town, will be back tomorrow."

"But she didn't infom us and why she went there?" I said with a pout.

"She had to attend a meeting on behalf of her dad in his company. Don't worry, she'll be back tomorrow. Now go to sleep. Good night."

"Good night Appa." I kissed his cheek and went to my room. I turned on the lights and saw JeongYeon was laying on my bed.

"What are you doing here?" I said stretching my arms.

"I came to say good night." She got up from the bed and came to me.

"Good night bunny." She kissed my cheek and went to open the door.

"You're really going hubby?" I asked pouting.

"I won't if you say." She said still holding the door knob.

"Then don't go." I opened my arms for her and she quickly came to hug me.

"I feel so good here." I said resting my head on her chest.

"But Miss, it's my wife's property." She said patting my back.

"So, are you cheating her with me?" I faced her still hugging her.

"Maybe yes."

"Why are you cheating her?" I said pouting.

"Because you're more beautiful than her."

"Really?" I pinched her arm.

"Ouch, I was kidding, bunny." She giggled rubbing her arm. I stared at her for a minute. She waved her hand infront of me.

"What are you looking at?" She said caressing my cheeks.

"I can't believe you're the same person who was fighting over a toy and..." Before I could complete my sentence, she pressed her lips on mine. She pulled me closer closing the gap between our bodies. I didn't respond but closed my eyes. She pulled out and looked at me with her sharp gaze.

"I'm like this and you all know why. Sometimes I'm being a kid and behave like kids while sometimes I being serious who is hard to control for anyone." She whispered in my ear in her husky voice.
