more like a novella
well it was this way: we were young and naïve, we just wanted to wear pink dresses and play with dolls.
but then we started growing up and we became more exposed to the world around us.
it was so new and bright and fun for us. a whole new world for us to explore and find ourselves.
to learn and find out what makes us unique and lovedit became hard to focus, hard to learn, hard to cope. and dark, tempting, harsh, bitter. and scary, we were afraid of getting hurt, and getting rejected, and getting lost. and stressful when we fought and strived and and and we started to loose each other
it became a challenge to keep those little girls with braids and doll houses to get along with the teenagers that listened to loud music and spent their time alone.
eventually inevitably too soon
we lost each other.that scared me a lot
you went away.
for awhile
i got sad when you were gone. you meant a lot to me and then you just left me alone.but then you came home and I was so so so so happy.
you told me you were sorry
and then we laid on the trampoline for hours and hours and hours just watching the clouds, until the clouds turned into stars. then we just watched the stars, wishing that we could be like them.but we can't
We are put on this earth if only for a short period of time, and we need to make the most of it.so here's to us.
to the adventures of clover and ember
long may we reign
