"yo lor, you ready?" my brother noah called out to me as i walked towards the student parking lot.
"are you cool if we stop on the way home to get food?" noah asked once i reached the car. we both hopped in, buckling our seat belts.
"yea sure, i don't have any money though." i laughed, shrugging my shoulders.
"don't worry sis, i got you." noah winked, starting the car.
he drove us to cookout which is my favorite fast food restaurant. "dude i've been craving a cookout tray for so long!" i jumped up and down in the passenger seat.
"i don't feel like going through the drive thru." noah sighed, pulling into a parking spot. "is she working today?" i asked, getting a nod in return.
sheis christina; aka noah's ex girlfriend; aka the girl that cheated on him multiple times. they broke up a couple months ago after she accidentally sent a text to him rather than her many 'boy toys'. frankly i'm glad they broke up, she was a real bitch.
"ok fine, i'll go in for you. what do you want?" i sighed, sticking my hand out for his card.
"thank you thank you thank you!" noah wrapped his arms around me in a hug. "i want my usual, and get a milkshake for us to share please!" he smiled.
i hopped out of his truck, heading towards the front door. sadly the place was crowded, so i had to wait in the long line.
•corbyn's pov•
me and the guys were having lunch at cookout. jonah and zach wanted to go to chipotle, but we took a vote and cookout won 3-2.
"yo corbyn!" jonah shook my shoulder. "you keep zoning out man." he snickered at me, getting all the boys attention.
"sorry guys, i guess i got stuff on my mind." i rubbed the temples on my forehead, closing my eyes.
"do tell." daniel placed his chin in his hands as we waited for me to spill. "there's this girl...." as soon as i said that the boys went crazy.
"i knew it! he's had a boner the last few days." zach points out. "what the fuck dude, why are you noticing that?" i tensed up. "yea zach what the hell?" jonah laughed, shoving zachs shoulder.
"i just meant he seemed happier." zach dropped his shoulder, shaking his head.
"so tell us about this girl!" jack asked, tapping my arm to continue.
i told them how i met lorelai, and how she's been the girl behind my tweets. and basically everything that's happened for the past few days with her.
"aw that's so cute, corbyn's in love." daniel said in a song-like tone. i just rolled my eyes as they all laughed.
right at that moment, my head was directed towards the door, and in walked her.
•lorelai's pov•
i looked down at my phone to pass the time; and decided to text ari telling her i'll be late for work. right as i sent her a text, i received a text from none other than corb.
corb: hey there lor how was school ?
me: it was ok, boring how was your day?
corb: eh, it was boring too whatcha up to
me: i'm getting food for my brother wbu?
corb: i'm getting lunch w my friends
me: ooo that sounds fun
corb: girl i swear
me: what? did i do something wrong ??
corb: wait no lol you didn't i promise i'm just trying to hint at something
me: ??
corb: goodness gracious LOOK UP SILLY
right then i looked up and saw corbyn sitting at a booth with some guys. his face lit up as he waved at me to come over.
"hey lor!" corbyn smiled, offering for me to sit next to him. "it's ok," i laughed. "i probably won't fit." i tucked a piece of hair behind my hair.
"nonsense! come on sit." corbyn wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me down next to him. my heart was racing.
"oh sorry guys, this is lorelai. lorelai, this is jack, daniel, zach and jonah." corbyn pointed at each of them, they all smirked at me, making me a little uncomfortable.
i sat there, getting to know the guys, but also staying pretty quiet. "are you ok?" corbyn whispered in my ear as the guys were distracted; they were debating on which restaurant has better fries.
i nodded, resting my head on his shoulder. corbyn wrapped his arms around my body, hugging me. "wait let's take a picture." he quickly thought of, reaching in his pocket for his phone.
"nooo, i look bad today." i covered my face with my hands.
"lies." he laughed, snapping a quick picture.
i laughed, totally forgetting we were in a public place. then remembering i had food i needed to get.
"oh my gosh i was supposed to get my brother food!" i said out loud, dropping my head in my hands.
"aw i don't want you to go." corbyn frowned. "i'm sorry. but hey, you coming tonight?" i asked, being way more bold than i was earlier.
"yea of course, and we can hang out afterwards right?" he asked, with a cute smirk. i nodded, kissing his cheek before getting out of the booth. "see you tonight guys." i waved, heading to the counter to order food.
after i got everything, i headed back to noah's car. "what took you so long?" noah laughed, grabbing his food. "nothing." i winked, taking one of his fries.
