ii. THE ART OF BROWN AND BLUE

OF COURSE, it wasn't that easy to get Jo started at her dream school, but it was that simple for Tony to get his young intern on the wait list for Midtown and while she dreaded for the arrival of her letter, she kept herself busy at the Avenger's Tower. While Tony had only so much pull he practically guaranteed Jo her spot. Of course, that didn't stop the girl from attempting to 'wow' her interviewers and continuously try to one-up her resume.

In a few weeks she'd officially know what the future held for her. Behind her would lie John Davis and the horrid Dog Wagon. Until then, she soaked up every last minute she could spend with Finn. Not that he'd ever let her stop being his friend because she was going to some fancy science school now, but soon they'd parted for most of their day. Ultimately, Jo was appreciative of everything Tony was doing for her, but was still in a midst of mild confusion over her trip to Germany.

A bunch of scholarships sounded like just thing Jo wanted to place on college applications, and the opportunity to attend with Tony Stark himself was one in a million. Or - two in a million. Considering the other "intern" he fibbed to Penny and George about.

"I'm not saying a spontaneous trip to Germany is a bad idea," Finn admitted, tugging his tray of slop down with him. "I'm telling you that going with someone you've never met, or even heard about before last night seems a bit sketchy."

"You watch way too many crime shows."

     "Have you never seen Taken?"

"Correction," Jo stuck her fork up in dramatic pause, "Too many crime movies."

Although, she really couldn't argue, Jo knew there had to involve a little risk when it came to Tony. He always had a flare for winging everything no matter what the cost.

"Listen, the kid from Midtown doesn't even exist," she laughed. "Mr. Stark made him up to persuade my parents into letting me go!"

Finn took a bite of whatever was on his plate and immediately spit it out in disgust. Wiping his face with a napkin he noticed his friend scrunch up her nose, mirroring his expression. Neither believing he had just did that managed to drop the subject all together.

Both teens perked up when a body placed themselves right in front of them. The figure slamming a flyer in their faces. They both looked up to a girl with the same color hair as everything in The Emerald City. It was curly and rested down against her thin cheeks. A pearly smile was sketched so delicately to her lips, displaying opposite of Jo and Finn's faces.
