Chapter 4 : Voice Fantasy

*****Auti's Pov*****

I parked in my regular spot and jumped out. I had approximately 1 minute 20 seconds and counting until the warning bell rang. I grabbed my bag and then rushed into the school.

60 seconds.

I pushed my feet as hard as i could.

45 seconds.

Almost there just a couple more turns.

Left, straight, left, right. 30 seconds.

Come on Auti, faster.

There it is. The door of the Chemistry lab was slowly closing.

"No wait !" I yelled not thinking twice.

15 seconds.

Run Auti ! Run !

Ms. Salmon poked her head outside the door looking surprised.

I started slowing down.

0 seconds. Ring ! Ring !

"Ms. Diaź your late." She said glaring at me.

I opened my mouth to protest but thought against it.

I groaned and made my way into the class. All eyes were on me.

Curse you Nathan Crest.

*****Flashback*****

I opened my eyes due to the blinding light and realised my curtains were wide open. Getting up I made my bed and headed for the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and jumped in the shower and began my morning routine. 15 minutes Later I stepped out of the bathroom in navy blue underwear and headed over to my closet.

I picked out a pair of black high waist shorts and a blue T-Shirt that's now a crop top along with my black Jordans. I walked over to my bed and took up my phone.

8 : 45 am

Holy Shit !!!

I'm gonna be late. I quickly put on my clothes while heading down to the kitchen, where I saw a sticky note with a message on the fridge -

Dear Lo,
If only you just hugged me at first. This is your punishment for choosing food over me. You know I always get you back so why bother ? Even so, I hope you enjoy your day at school, i mean your evening in detention.😌😌

I am going to kill him. I rushed outside with a bottle of OJ and got in my car. Just wait until he comes home.

*****End of Flashback*****

That leads up to now. Where I am currently seated in Chemistry, beside, Ryeland Hunter.

"Psst."

Just ignore him Auti.

"Psst."

Don't look.

"Pssssssssstttt."

Ignore him.

Poke. Poke. Poke.

I glared at him.

"Why were you late ?" He asked.

No answer.

"Okay fine, but I can't leave you alone, we're in Chemistry." He said wiggling his eyebrows. Yuck.

I felt my cheeks heating up so i ran a hand through my hair to mess it up a bit still looking red as ever.

"Oh god." I rose my eyebrows at his exclamation. "That looks so hot." he said fanning himself.

I rolled my eyes.

"You know, you never talk, but i can't help wondering what you sound like, and how you'd sound saying my name." He whispered winking at me.

I gave him a hard glare.

"I wonder how it would sound if you moaned it ?" He said to himself not so quietly. People turned their heads towards us with curious glances. I groaned silently to myself.

"Damn." He whispered huskily.

I buried my head in my arms and quietly prayed for this to be over.

*****Time Skip - End of School*****

I burst through the doors moving my feet as fast as they would go.

"Auti wait !" Hunter shouted.

I didn't stop. I kept running, but now I wish I had stopped.

"Babe." He whined loudly drawing attention to us. Great. This is just what I wanted.

I spun around and shot him a hard glare.

"Actually," Alex interrupted before I could snap, "that's what I was gonna address."

I'm pretty sure I must've looked completely stupid.

"Can we come over tonight ?" He asked.

Still confused, I blurted "¿Qué demonios?" without thinking. - [What the hell?]

Out the corner of my eye i could see Summers gaping and Alex was staring not so subtly and that's when i realised what happened.

"I have a proposition for you."

I gave him an extra skeptic look.

"Just hear us out."

I motioned for him to get talking.

"Your hot when your bossy." Hunter said smirking at me.

I glared at him.

"Right, Ok. Be Rye's girlfriend."

"What ?" Hunter asked stunned.

"I said be Rye's girlfriend."

I gaped at them.

"Not his real girlfriend, but a fake one." He said rolling his eyes.

I shook my head.

"Well, I mean you guys have so much sexual tension going on, so-"

I held up a finger silencing him while shaking my head. I walked off towards my car and got in slamming the door shut.

"Auti wait !" Hunter yelled jogging over. I rolled down the window.

"Why don't you want to?" He asked looking a bit hurt.

I shrugged looking down.

"Please Ti."

"¿Por que yo?" - [Why me?] I said hoping he'd leave.

Again he looked a bit stunned that I was speaking or maybe it was because of the Spanish, I was also a bit shocked. "Because I choose you." Oh..he understands me.

"¿Por que?" - [Why?]

"You're kinda fun to be around and I love annoying you."

I held back the blush that was trying to find it's way onto my cheeks.

"You also don't worship the ground I walk on like these girls. You actually give me a run for my money and it makes you fascinating."

I smirked at that.

"So are you in ?"

"Tengo que pensarlo." I said quietly while turning on my car and taking it out of park. He nodded in understanding. - [I have to think about it.]

"By the way, your voice is as sexy as I imagined it," he said with a small smirk and stepped back. "I'll text you later okay darling?"

I nodded softly and rolled the window back up. I backed out of the parking lot and let out a huge sigh.

'Darling...' The Butterflies...

I am in deep shit...
