"Have you found him?"
Just like the previous night, everyone in the living room waited for the man to nod his head. It was a moment of silence, allowing the ticking of the clock to resonate, as they anticipate for the good news.
Their hopes crumbled when the man sighed, shoulder slumping, and with a quick glance over their hopeful eyes said "I'm sorry. We'll try again tomorrow."
The head of the search and rescue excused himself with the rest of his team to give the family time to process this information.
Joseph hugged his crying wife and their children for support. This has been going on for the past two days since Taehyung went missing.
"This is all my fault..." Luella cried out, she looked like she aged even more. She's thinner and her wrinkles seem to crease her once lovely face.
Jin slowly walked over her, his little hands caressing her face.
"It's no one's fault grandma. Please don't cry." He said as his small fingers wipe away her tears.
"Jin is right mom. Don't blame yourself for it. I k-know we'll eventually find him." Tianna weakly smiled, controlling her own sobs to come out.
This is not the time for them to blame each other. Everyone knows it's no use. All they have to do is to pray that Taehyung is safe wherever he may be.

"He's not waking up."
The people in the room glared at the peach haired man. All eyes look disinterested at his remarks, clearly out of the subject that they're tackling at the moment.
They were having an urgent meeting early in the morning and everyone is obviously not having any of it.
The brown haired man has broken the ice by clearing his throat before continuing.
"So as I was saying, Yoongi and I will go to the city this morning to check on what's happening there. We heard from Yugyeom that there are people wreaking havoc there and it's getting out of their hands."
Everyone looks at the man sitting in the center with his raven hair pushed back, waiting for his confirmation. A minute passed by before he nodded his head toward the one who suggested it.
"Bring three more men, Hoseok and Yoongi. It's better to have these people learn their lessons in the quickest way."
The brown haired man, by the name of Hoseok, nodded his head in agreement. He looked at the pale looking man beside him who just rolled his eyes in boredom.
"Any other concerns?" The raven haired asked for the last time, his eyes scanning the room before it landed on the man with peach hair who seems to have an itching tongue for wanting to say something.
"I said he's not waking up and it's been two days already."
This got everyone grunting in annoyance once more.
"Jimin! Will you just cut the fuck out?! We don't care if he's not waking up. Just throw him away!" Jackson irritatingly blurted out.
"Throw him away?! Are you for real?! He's a child! A fucking hurt child Jackson and you just want to throw him away?! Do you even have a heart?" Jimin stated with too much intensity that got everyone rolling their eyes.
"Why are you throwing a fit over some random child?! You shouldn't have brought him here Jimin!" Jackson bickered back. The rest of the people in the room did not want to meddle with the two fighting hot-blooded men.
"He's been attacked by a wolf Jackson! Do you expect me to just leave him be? To let him get eaten by that heartless wolf if I can save him?!" Jimin retorted back with blazing eyes and fangs already out, his wolf taking over him.
"Yes! You should've just let him die! He's not one of us so who cares?!" Jackson has his eyes changing in color and his fist tightly closed from trying his best not to start a fight.
"I care! I care 'cause he's a child! He's a chi---"
"ENOUGH!"
Everyone went silent, hearing the thunderous voice of the man in the middle, their leader.
"I did not ask you to fight over some petty shit. If this is just all about a mere child, and you're ready to kill each other, then better dispose it."
Jimin gasped at this, face showing his hurt feelings. "D-dispose? You want me to dispose a child?"
The raven haired did not even blink an eye before saying "Yes" as if they're only talking about throwing a trash on a bin.
Jimin abruptly stood with visible anger in his eyes. He respects their leader but this is not something he can do.
"I can't believe you Jungkook."
With that, Jimin went running out of the room with determination to keep and help the child no matter what.
"I don't think he'll listen this time." Yoongi said looking at the closed door.
"He'll do it especially if the child is already dead. There's nothing he can do about it." Jungkook muttered boredly. There are a lot of concerns he has to focus on and babysitting a dying child is not one of them.
"Yeah. Jimin can't do anything about a dying child, but you can." Yoongi continued before staring at Jungkook's deep black eyes.
The latter is not planning on starting an argument. He just shrugged his shoulders before dismissing everyone back to their work.
Once alone, Jungkook gazed down at the window where a lot of people are busy doing their work. There are also children training how to transform to their wolf form for the first time.
This got him thinking of the human child Jimin has in his care. Even without seeing the child in person, Jungkook knows that it's in the brink of dying due to the smell coming out of it.
Yoongi is right. He can do something about the child.
"I can.. but I won't."
