It was now Friday thank you finally. I talked to the basketball coach to see if I can join the team even tho it's the middle of the season. He said I'll have to try out and see since my grades wasn't an issue. I was going to spend my weekend relaxing and doing some cleaning. I'm kind of a neat freak butmy try outs Monday so I'm going to hit the gym and practice a little.
I jumped in the shower and did my basic hygiene. Tied my hair up in a tight pony , threw some basketball shorts and a sports bra on grabbed my shoes and headed to the gym.

After a good two hour work out that consisted of basic conditioning and perfecting my shot selection I decided to to go for a walk. So I pulled out my headphones and headed on my way. While walking listening to get away by dope boyscashout I began to get deep into my thoughts.
Looking at the sun set well more like full blown staring I bumped into .... almost falling he grabbed me by my side catching me from falling. Prepared to snap I looked up and got lost in his eyes .
Jay POV
Im at this local park doing light workouts with a few of my boys on the team. The quarterback Travis launched the football thinking I can't catch it. He must have forgot who the fuck I was😏 I ran jumped and caught it with one hand. On my way down I noticed a girl walking looking off in a daze. I was running to fast and there was no way to avoid her so thinking fast as I ran into her I wrapped my arm around her waist preventing her from falling.
I looked down noticing how beautiful her eyes were. Getting lost in them admiring all of her features...Hearing Travis and the boys yelling made me Realize we were in that position for a min. I helped her up straight clearing my throat apologizing for knocking her over she said it's no problem I smiled. Jay-hey I feel like I've seen you somewhere , what's your name ma?
Danelle-idk I've been to a lot of schools probably from there but my name is danelle
Jay-danelle huh thats a beautiful name I'm trey, have you every been to Crestwood high?
Danelle- full of questions I see 😂but actually I go there now started last Monday.
Jay-I go there now (rubbing the back of my unsure as to why I'm getting a little nervous. I'm that nigga I don't get nervous) hey u-um I was wondering if I could get your number?

After giving him my number his friends started yelling for him so we said our goodbyes. I smiled walking away looking at the text trey sent me "this trey beautiful save my number" I responded to the msg and saved his number. Not realizing this was the start of a major change in my life.
