Y/N's pov

It was the fourth and most likely the final day of Hwasas' heat, she and I were no longer raging bodies filled with hormones anymore. Or not really anyways, she was now more uncomfortable with the whole thing.

We ended up marking each other just as planned, I marked her first, then she marked me the next day. So now I guess we are officially mates now, despite not being married and not having children at this very moment.

It might happen one day.

"Hey hun," I looked over at Hwasa walking into the kitchen wearing one of her cute outfits she usually wears. She's been wearing extremely comfortable clothes or nothing at all lately, which is something I'm definitely not complaining about. It just seems that she is feeling herself again and getting back to her usual self.

"Yeah?" I answered before taking a spoonful of my cereal.

"Is it okay if I meet up with the girls for a little while?" She asked playing with her fingers.

"Of course you can," I took a sip of water "Also please don't ask me permission to do things or when you want something please? I don't really care because you do what you want."

She smiled at me "Oh so I can do anything I want and have whatever I want?" She asked testing me.

"I mean pretty much" I started then quickly squinted my eyes at her "Obviously there are some limits and exceptions though, like please don't go buy a horse or something, they are pretty expensive to care for last time I checked."

She lightly laughed "I know, I'm only joking." She walked around the island and came up to where I was sitting, she leaned over and gave me a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you, I'll be back by dinner time." She gave my back a little rub before leaving my side and grabbing her purse on the hook by the door.

"Okay you go have fun." I waved at her as she was leaving.

"I will, and you do something fun too." I gave a thumbs up as she blew me a kiss before closing the door. I finished my cereal and looking into the leftover milk that was left in my bowl. I was zoning out into the small amount of milk leftover in my bowl and I guess it was an attempt at figuring out what I was going to do all day.

I slightly shook my head and lightly rubbed at my eyes since I kind of dried them out with the staring. I took out my phone and opened up my group chat with Mila, Tamiko, and Daria.

You: Hey you guys should come hang out with me.
9:47 am

I waited a little bit and when I got no immediate response I sighed and took my bowl to the sink. I rinsed it off before setting it off to the side to be cleaned later, since I obviously wasn't going to be cleaning it right now.

I suddenly heard a ding come from my phone and I looked to who it was from the chat.

Daria: Why are you so demanding about it though?

Another ding came after the first.

Mila: Right? I mean I don't hate it since you've been ignoring us recently, but come on I just woke up :/

I rolled my eyes with a slight smirk.

You: Hey I'm sorry about that, but I'm asking now as your best friend to hang out with me since Hwasa is out with her friends!

Daria: Oh I see how it is, you only want to hang out with us because you don't have Hwasa.

Tamiko: Look who's talking, Daria the only reason you are texting us is because Moonbyul is with Hwasa and not with you, so shut it.
