"What are you still doing here?!" he huffed, revealing a bottled water in his hand, which he asked his secretary to buy it for him. "I thought here, you'd appreciate me giving you a free drink?" he sincerely smiled this time. You went straight to your desk to grab a rubbing alcohol, getting rid of the foul smell of smoke from your bare hand. You sure needed that drink, but what if he's at it again? You thought. So, you rudely, yes, rudely declined his offer. Thinking there might be another set of laxative mixed in there.
"Come on, babe. It's just plain water. No additives this time." You cursed at him once again, not minding it he'll be turned off by your nasty attitude. You just want him out of your office and finish signing the documents. You let out another curse as you completely forgot to release the schedule through email. Plus, four file folders left to be signed. You're practically be ending your shift in an hour but you still have hefty loads of work to do. You gazed in awe at the mountains of paper. Your secretary clearly stated that these needs to be signed before end of day. So you quickly grabbed your favorite indigo pen to start working on it.
"You should drink this before you dehydrate yourself more, princess." At the moment, you totally forgot his existence until he voiced up. Glare was given to the handsome man before your eyes again glued on the paper below. He sighed, opening the bottle cap and took a small gulp of water, assuring you that the beverage was safe for you to drink. "See? I drank it. It's safe," Jin licked the excess water left from his upper lip, looking like a sexy idol in front of you.
"Now, you expect me to drink from that bottle?" you suddenly questioned out of nowhere. You already knew where this was leading. And you absolutely hated the thought of it. "Why not?" he smirked. Oh yeah, anyone would be willing enough to drink from that bottle, but not you. You weren't stupid to fall in to his traps ever again. Only the thought of you indirectly kissing the guy from that water bottle, just makes you wanna puke the salad from lunch.
"Oh, I get it. If you don't want it indirectly, we can do it directly, princess." His brows raised up and down as he's in favor of the action he has in mind. While you, brows furrowed, pressed your finger in to your temple as if you were having a massive headache before this man. You slowly pressed your intercom, in need of your secretary in your office. You made sure she'll bring bottled water for you to drink. Jin just let out a snicker closing the bottle and resting it on top of your desk. "Why do you always play hard to get, Y/N? Do you hate me that much?" he sat on the same chair from this morning. You paced fast upon signing the documents, wanting your guts to get out of the place as soon as possible. "It's none of your business, Kim." Your simple answer.
Jin is now getting intimidated more and more because of you. He just simply wants to be friends. But he can't help it that when you try to ignore him, he'll get a load of idea, including pulling a prank on you, just to make you notice him.
"Know what? Fine. Suit yourself. That's why you're still single," and with that he left the room. What does your civil status has to do with this? You thought. Moments later, it's already past over your shift when you finished signing all the documents. You fixed your things, not leaving anything on your desk, as small droplets echoed the whole building. Until it became loud and big. You didn't noticed the sky was painted a dark gray shade.
It's raining.
Rain doesn't bother you but you surely hate to get wet in it. And you didn't bring an umbrella with you. You hurried yourself to the basement parking lot. It wasn't that hard to spot your car since most of the employee headed home. But there's one car that caught your attention. It was your rival's car, Jin. You two have the same schedule so you wondered why he's still present in the building. Maybe he forgot to finish his work because he was in your office during his work hour? You quickly threw away that thought in to the puddle of mud forming on the road.
