I woke up the next morning not tired at all, it felt like that was the best sleep I have had in ages.
"venom didn't I tell you to wake me up?" I said and rubbed my eyes.
"I never promised" he said and popped out from the side of my neck giving me a playful smile.
"haha very funny" I said and playfully rolled my eyes. "fancy helping me choose an outfit v?" I said casually as I got out of bed.
"No thanks" he said and I looked at him.
"Okay then.. let me get dressed" I said and smiled. the blob disappeared back into my body, i walk towards my wardrobe and picked out an outfit out for today.

I quickly got dressed and walked over to my mirror.
Venom pops out the side of my neck and I continued to look at my outfit. "I like the top" he said and I smiled "ha thanks v" I said and walked over to my door and left my bedroom. I head to the stairs and went downstairs.
"We gonna be killing some bad guys today?"
He asked from inside my head.
"Probably not v, yesterday wasn't supposed to happen" I said and looked around.
"Awh please nibble" he said and I rolled my eyes
"what does nibble even mean?" I questioned and walked into the kitchen. "easy to eat" he said casually.. "oh wow thanks" I said and chuckled.
"Have any other better nick names?" He asked cockily.
"Not that I can think of" I said in defeat.
"how about Jedi?" He asked and I shook my head

I rolled my eyes playfully. "mommmmm?" I shouted but no one responded. "mom?" I said and looked around, That's when I noticed a note on the kitchen table, I walked over and picked it up 'Gone out for lunch with Mrs Elmer see you later love u x' I read it and put it back down and sighed.
"your moms not home" he said and I shook my head and smiled "Yeah no shit" I said sarcastically and laughed. "can we have waffles" he asked casually. "eh- why waffles?" I questioned.
"Waffles or people you choose" he said and I walked over to the toaster "alright we'll have waffles"
I said in defeat and placed two waffles in the toaster and waited for them to finish cooking.

the waffles popped up and i put them on a plate "can you put syrup on it" he asked kindly.
"sure" I said and poured syrup on both of the waffles. I took a bite out of one of the waffles and smiled to myself from the sweet flavour.
"want the oth-" I began but was interrupted by venom popping out of my neck and snatching it from my plate.. "that's really nice" he said and turned his head and looked at me. I nodded in agreement
And began to make my way into my living room when suddenly there was a knock on the door.
I turned my head to look at venom who was still blob beside you "don't open it morsel" he said with a serious tone in his voice.
"Why?" I questioned and began to slowly walk closer to the door. "LAPD open up" i heard being shouted from outside of my house.
I turned and looked at him with wide eyes as a slight panic rose up into my gut.
"told you" he said and a smile appeared on his face. "open the door or we're knocking it down" the voice shouted, closer to the door this time.
"just hide okay" I said and venom disappears back inside my neck, I walked towards the door and opened it wide to come face to face with a slim blonde woman and a handsome fellow in a black suit standing on my door step. They both looked at me and gave me a small smile.

"LAPD May we come in?"  The woman said and signalled to inside my house.
"Yeah come in" I said and moved out of the way for them both to walk inside the house. 
They both came inside and walked straight into the kitchen. "What can I do for you both." I said and crossed my arms and leaned against the kitchen side.
"We were notified about a murder" the woman said and looked at me and crossed her arms.
"Okay?" I said and chuckled a little.
"We did test and your dna was found on the body" the woman said and i stood up straight and looked at them both, I began to quietly panic as they looked at me.. "morsel stay calm" venoms deep voice said inside of my head, i looked at the handsome man and the blonde woman and decided to ask them a question..
"C-could I ask what your names are?" I said and did a small smile.
"Oh of course, I'm Chloe decker and this is my.. assistant" the woman said and signalled to herself and the man.. "now now detective, I'm lucifer, lucifer Morningstar" the man said and looked at me with an attractive smirk on his face.
"Is that your actual name?" I asked and looked at them both.
"Yes that's his actual name, now. how would your dna show up on the test" Chloe said seriously.
"I-" I began but couldn't keep my eyes off of that guy.. "you?"  Lucifer spoke up glared at me and stared right into me eyes..
"I was walking home from the shops and they started follow me and t-then they pushed me to the side and-" I said and fiddled with my thumbs.
"and?" Chloe said put her hand on her hip.
"He covered my mouth with his hand.. so then I bit him and I ran off ...that's it" I said and continued to fiddle around with my thumbs.
"and do you have any proof of this?"  Lucifer questioned and looked at me with a smirk on his face "No.. nothing I can think of.." I said innocently.
"Well you biting his hand explains why your saliva was there.. but doesn't explain why the head was missing"  chloe says whilst looking at lucifer with a confused look..
"woah woah woah- his head was missing?" I said, pretending to be shocked.
"Well yes! That is what the detective just said" lucifer said with a little chuckle at the end.  "and you- you came to a teenager?" I asked and looked at them both and scrunched my eyebrows. "Yes" Chloe said and nodded.
"I'm a 5 foot 2 harmless woman.
and you think, I can chop a head off!?!" I snapped, lying once more.
"Y/n has a point detective" lucifer said and I looked at him look at him proudly.
