Chapter 7

A few days went by, Demi and Nick were working on both their albums so they were a bit apart but they still managed to have some time together to write. Demi was on her way to Hollywood Records when she received a text from Nick saying to tune in z100 to hear his new single. It was kind of a surprise to Demi because she didn’t know the song or that he was releasing a single on that day so she just tuned in and the music started immediately. It was called “Jealous”.

                When she heard the first words of the song, she knew the music was about her, the scene at the bar. She stopped the car and heard word by word.

                When the music finished she texted Nick.

                “I know I’m sexy but you don’t need to be jealous”, he didn’t answered right away so Demi started the car and made her way to HR.

                The following day Demi asked Nick to go to her house, since the text she sent he didn’t talked about his music, he avoided the subject, so Demi invited him to have lunch at her house. Soon as he arrived they went to her living room and ate.

                -Why didn’t you answer my text? – Demi blurted out

                - What text? – Nick asked but he knew exactly which one

                - The one about your music – Demi said

                - I don’t know, I was kinda busy that day and maybe I didn’t saw it – Nick said

                - Nicholas – Demi said

                - Demetria – Nick said

                - Come on, is that song about the bar day? – Demi asked

                - Maybe – He said

                - Are you jealous when guys look at me? – Demi asked smirking but Nick avoided looking at her

                - I was at that time – Nick said

                - Nick, you’re being so awkward, it’s ok, I love the song – Demi said laughing

                - Seriously? – Nick said

                - Seriously. And by the way, you’re the other lover in Cher’s song part – Demi said

                - Why? – He asked

                - She said we would make a cute couple – Demi said giggling. In their minds they would, but they don’t see that the other one likes them back.

                - We should write and record music together – Nick said

                - Sure, I actually have some ideas – Demi said

                They wrote and recorded a song called “Never Been hurt” , they decided to be on Demi’s new album with Nick as a featuring. They released as a single too and almost immediately they were invited to some interviews and again on Ellen.

                Demi was getting ready and waited for Nick to pick her up to go to Ellen’s show.

                Soon as he arrived they went to the studios and Ellen introduced them.

                - My next guests had a turnaround in their lives and became even closer than they were before. Please welcome Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato – Ellen said, they went, waved and sat on the large couch
