Kim Taehyung has been harbouring a crush on his schoolmate, Jeon Jeongguk, the prettiest babydoll of their school and a total goody-two-shoes, since elementary.
The catch—other than Taehyung being an absolute geek and totally nonexistent on the popularity totem pole? Well, Jeongguk happens to have the school's bad boy as his boyfriend. And as if that isn't enough already, Taehyung's also sure that 'the princess' doesn't even know who he is—albeit they've been attending the same school since kindergarten. He's that invisible.
But Taehyung's okay with that. He can just admire Jeongguk from afar. He does not want to get beaten up by Jeongguk's bodybuilder of a boyfriend anyway. Nope. Nada. Never.
But it seems like god—or Cupid, or maybe Loki (definitely him)—wants something entirely different, because, one day, Taehyung fortuitously stumbles upon Jeongguk—who's known to be a fragile flower—beating the absolute crap out of a bunch of guys in a dark alleyway.
Thereafter, a series of events spiral out, inadvertently bringing the two boys, and their friends, closer. But it seems like there's a lot more to Jeon Jeongguk than anyone had thought—and they're not all good things.
(Also, maybe Taehyung needs to keep his guard up around Jeongguk more often, since the not-so-delicate beauty might just break all his bones himself before his boyfriend can even get a whiff of Taehyung's not-so-platonic feelings for him).
Maybe love really is an illusion, and not everyone is the perfect person they seem to be. And Taehyung's about to learn that the hard way—and in the most heartbreaking way.
