Lucas stands there, speechless after the Masked man takes off his helmet. The eyes that gaze back at him turn from emotionless to grief. He looks beyond Lucas. "I...I can't...Mom. I'm in so much pain and I'm tired but...I can't leave them yet." he drops to his knees streaming down his face. "I'm sorry it turned out like this. I'm awful, reckless and stupid aren't I? The world wouldn't be on the verge of ending if it weren't for me. Look at the mess I made, what I've become."

As he looked back up he was met with a hard hand across the face "I-It wasn't your fault!! It was all Porky's...." Lucas shouted, wiping his eyes quickly. "W...We're going home. After I pull the needle everything will be back to normal..."

Claus stands up slowly and steps aside. "It won't... but it is a nice thought, huh?" he forces a smile. Lucas needs to take a minute to relax his nerves enough. He looks behind at the others starting to get back up. "Hey, you can definitely do it kid." Kumatora grins. "You've gotten this far" Duster adds.

"Go on Lucas. Pull the Dragon's last needle. It'll be alright..." Flint spoke up, still hugging himself from the damage he had taken.

Lucas's legs felt like jelly as he took each step over, feeling everyone watching him. Claus watching him. He closed his eyes and let out a deep breath. He pulled it.

After the blinding light died down.... Lucas was able to open his eyes again. But to his confusion, he was no longer in the dark underground. He looked around frantically. He..He was in someone's house? Who's? Where was he? Where was everyone else?

"...This isn't Tazmilly." Claus's voice startled him. The older twin was staring out the window. He turned around, looking just as confused as Lucas. "Did we..."

"Hey!! What are you doing in my house? In my ROOM?" a voice cut him off. The door swung open to reveal a dark haired boy with a baseball cap holding a bat. Claus immediately stepped in front of Lucas, raising his canon arm. "We don't. Know."

Lucas stared. He looked... familiar? Flashbacks to the theater in NPC hit him. "A...Are you... Ness?" Lucas spoke up. The boy stopped and stared. "No. I'm Ninten. But some other kid just dropped by here saying his name was Ness. What, do we look alike or somethin'?"

"Ah- no, I just... I thought you looked familiar sorry. And we have no idea how we got here."

Claus slowly lowered his weapon. "Where are we anyway?"

"Eagleland." Ninten replied, also lowering his bat. "...Follow me. We're gonna find that Ness kid and try to figure this out."

Ness wandered around cluelessly. Nothing looked familiar and that other guy from earlier wasn't much help but there was something.... interesting about him. It was hard to think clearly. He hadn't eaten much today aside from bacon and toast for breakfast.. He felt in his pockets. All his had was his ATM card... He hurriedly found the nearest one and tried to get money but- the machine wouldn't recognize his card at all... He huffed and stuck it back in his pocket. He was in some sort of foreign land or.... maybe even a different world. He shook his head and went to a trashcan to see if he could find any good scraps. Aha! Half eaten hot dog. He was never very picky so he took it out, but before he could take a bite someone grabbed his arm. "Wait! You can't eat that- that... came out of the trash!" a boy with brown hair and green eyes stared in worry. "Oh uh... I know." Ness smiled. "It's not the first time I've done this ya know."

"Sheesh... at least let me grab you something, something not from the garbage." He led Ness along by the hand. "You don't need to-" free food. "... Ah, thanks! You're a real life saver..."

"Travis!" the other smiled brightly. "Honestly though, I have no idea what town I'm in. Even with a map, nothing looks familiar. I want to call home but... I don't have any change for a payphone."

Ness's stomach turned a little. He suddenly remembered home....
