Chapter 3

Today, the teacher said that we are going to meet a new transfer student. I was hoping it to be bright and cheerful girl but instead we got a boy. Turned out to be quite good-looking and friendly.

New Boy  : "Hello guys!  My name is Kingston Mayer. I know It's peculiar. I, too do not know why my parents gave me such name. You can just call me King hehe 😄"

[EVERYBODY LAUGHS]

Alice : "Thank god we have someone to cheer this dull class."

Faith : **still laughing but shyly**

Sam : "Haha, nice name he got there."

Quinn : "He doesn't just look good but he is also funny."

Hazel : "Hoho~ Do you have a crush on him, Miss Smartie-pants? 😏"

Quinn : "No I do not" **sulks**

Aries : "It's okay to have a crush. But I'm going to get him first of course 😉"

Quinn : "Nooo.. I mean sure go ahead I don't care hmpff" **continue sulking**

After teasing Quinn, the recess bell rang. All of us ran to the cafeteria as fast as we can because it is VERY hard to find empty seats for 6 people if you are one step too late. Sometimes, the food at the cafeteria can be very appetizing but sometimes you will feel like you are sitting in the barn of some sort. It's a gamble.

Thankfully, today dishes are spaghetti which is better than yesterday's instant noodles. Coincidentally, we sat directly next to King, the new student's  table. He seems to be good at making friends. We just met him today in class and now he already got several football team members hanging out with him.

Then, I saw Quinn's eyes were looking at something while smiling. She was very focus as if the teacher was teaching in front of her. I followed her eyes and saw what she was looking at. There, I saw King was looking at her smiling and a wink. 

Hazel and Faith both poked me to tell me something. 

[WHISPERING]

Hazel : "Did you see what I just saw?"

Faith : "Well, it's proven he also have a thing for her."

Aries : "What should we do?"

Faith : "Nothing. Just observe."

Hazel : "Why? We should get them closer and make them wanna know about each other."

Faith : "We can't force them. If they're are really meant to be, they will be together. Relax."

Aries : "You sure can be quite cheesy once in a while. "

Faith : "Shut up >< I read that in a novel once and always wanted to say it. I've been waiting for this moment you know."

Hazel : "Yeah yeah whatever."

Quinn : "What are you guys whispering about? Let us hear it too."

Sam : "Nah, I don't really care."

Alice : "What? You guys were talking about something without me 0.0?"

Aries : "It's nothing. We were just talking about what did they put in this spaghetti to make it so delicious"

Quinn : "Oh, It's easy. You just need to---"

[BELL RANG]

Aries : "Oh would you look at the time!.. Time for some learning!"

Hazel : "Let's go Alice!" **Grabs Alice's arm** 

Sam : "Another boring class for another boring subject"

Faith : "Right! I hope the teacher will not give any homework today. " **Pulls Sam to make her walk faster**

Quinn : "You guys are so weird today. Never mind. Must be my mind playing tricks on me. Let's go Aries"

Aries : "Yeah"

[AFTER SCHOOL]

Faith : "Hey guys! I got an idea! Let's hang out at Aries's house today. Can we Aries? "

Aries : "Sure.. Why not. My parents hardly home anyways"

Sam : "Is it near? I'm lazy to walk but if it is, I can just do my homework at your house."

Alice : "Yeah, let me ask my mom first." **Calls mom with phone**

Hazel : "Sweet!"

Quinn : "Sounds fun but I've something else to do. I'm so sorry, girls. You guys go on without me."

Aries : "Aww...I guess it's too bad that you can't join us then. Good luck with whatever you are going to do!"

Quinn : "Thanks. See you tomorrow~"

[All wave goodbye to Quinn] 

Alice : "Don't you dare to not come to school tomorrow!"

Quinn : "I won't. :)"

Aries : "I wonder what she's up to..." I murmured to myself
