*Haeyoung's P.O.V*

"What is a ligament?" I repeated my exam questions over and over "I know I got it right but I'm not sure why it says I picked A" I sighed as I dropped my hands down, removing the paper from my face "Mom's gonna be upset, I scored a 89" I rubbed my head "Hey Haeyoung!" My best friend ran to me, linking her arm around mine "Good afternoon, Yunhee" I smiled at her "So you wanna hang out after school with me and Hanbyul?" She rested her head on my shoulder "I'm not sure, I have lot's of homework. You should go with your boyfriend, I don't wanna third wheel" I continued to walk out the large building I call school 

"Or maybe you don't want Jaehyun to see you in public" I yanked my arm from her "Stop" I breathed "Quit saying his name out loud..." My voice faded as I watched a familiar face walk past us "Hey Jaehyun" Yunhee called out getting the attention from the elder, As soon as he looked back I quickly turned around "Hey, Yunhee" I could feel his smile piercing through my back "And her friend..." His voice had a light chuckle "Haeyoung!" My friend tried turning me around, "H-HI" I waved without looking at the boy "Uhh okay?" His voice faded "Bye...I guess" Hearing his footsteps fade I slowly turned around "Phew" I wiped my forehead "Haeyoung" My friend nudged my arm, earning a slight grunt "You idiot!" I rubbed my arm "Okay, Okay I get it" I sliped the paper I was holding into my bag "I need to get home" I placed my bag back over shoulder "Alright, I'll see you tomorrow" I watched as she shoved her hands in her pocket "Don't forget we're getting new seats tomorrow, Maybe you'll sit by you know who" She furrowed her eyebrows "I'm leaving" I rolled my eyes as I turned around "Mhm, Bye" She acted cute "Disgusting" I swallowed my spit as I giggled.

"Good afternoon, Mother" I smiled as I kissed the picture frame that sat on my dresser "So I know you'll be mad but I got a 89 on my exam" I sighed as I sat on my bed "I love you though" I grabbed the picture from the wooden stand " And I miss you so much" My eyes began to water as I held the photo close to my chest "I'll try harder on my next exam I promis-"

"Haeyoung!" A loud voice echoed through the house "Y-Yes" I slowly sat up, Scared to move "You better not be talkin' to that got damn picture again!" I listened as the footsteps became louder, finally at my door "What time is it?!" I watched as my door violently swung open "You need to cook something" I slowly stood up, leaving the picture on the bed "Yes, Father" I bowed politely "Hurry!" Before I could stand up straight again I was grabbed by my hair "F-Fath-er" That's when it hit me...He was drunk again "I'm hungry!" I was shoved out my room and onto the floor "O-Oww" I gripped my head "Food!" My father screamed "Right away, sir" I quickly stood up, "I'll make it now" Without removing my hand from my head I rushed down the stairs and into the kitchen.

"The foods ready!" I yelled, to hear silence "Father!" I called once again, He must be asleep. "Why so early" I began to walk into the living room, reading the clock that hung on the wall "It's 8:30!" I began to freak out "Where's my medicine?!" I ran up to my room, searching every drawer I saw "Here!" I quickly grabbed the white labeled bottle from my dresser "Thank god" With no other words, I poured the white pills onto my hand then into my mouth, grabbing the water that sat on my dresser I swallowed it along with the pills "I almost forgot" I sat on my bed in silence, "Where's my phone?" I reached over to the bag that sat on the edge of my mattress, rummaging through it, I finally found the device. Placing it on the dresser I plugged the white cored into it, letting it charge "I guess It's time to go to bed..." Sighing as I removed my skirt, leaving me in my underwear and school shirt. "Good night Mother" I grabbed the frame that sat beside me "I love you..."
