It had only been a few hours since I had been discharged from the hospital after the birth of our baby D/n. (Daughter's name.) Seidou was already running around the house panicking and reeling over any little action or noise that escaped our little bundle of joy.

Of course, I found this utterly adorable, but he was starting to scare the baby... So I decided to attempt to calm him down.

I was seated in our cosy living room next to the fireplace, which was emitting a comforting warmth which filled the small room. D/n was stirring in her sleep on my lap, under her small, pastel pink, knitted blanket.

I turn my gaze to Seidou, who is hovering over my shoulder, gazing down at D/n. His expression resembling that of a loving father.

"I see you finally calmed down then, huh?" I say jokingly with a small smile tugging at the side of my lips.

Seidou shakes his head to when he hears my voice and leaves his dream like state.

"Was I acting that odd?" He adds with a small nervous chuckle as he moves around to the other side of the couch to sit with me and D/n.

He places an arm around my shoulder, pulling me closer slowly, so as to avoid disturbing D/n's sleep any further. Seidou then proceeds to rest his head on my shoulder as he gently holds D/n's tiny hand.

"No, you were just nervous that's all love~ Which is completely normal! Heck, I'm nervous too." I spoke gently as I gazed  up at my husband with a small smile before pecking him on the lips gently. "-But we'll manage just fine my dear~" I say sweetly as I snuggle into his shoulder further before drifting off to sleep together as a family~ Finally complete.

My eyes flutter open to the cries of D/n from the room across from ours. I groan slightly as I look at the digital clock that stood upon my small stack of books that lay on my bedside table. The clock displayed the glowing red digits, '5:15'.

I yawn and sit up, taking one look over at Seidou's sleeping form, one arm gripping his pillow tightly, drool escaping his slightly agape mouth and traveling down his chin onto the pillow. I smile down at him before quitely slipping out of my covers and making my way out of of our bedroom to D/n's.
