Paul woke up early the next morning, and very out of the ordinary, he jumped right out of bed. And, also very unlike him, he didn't take some bird to bed the night before. He had one girl on his mind, and that wasn't Jane either.
He had a bath, dressed, and headed out the door.
He walked into the hotel, and found a secluded spot in which to wait for Amanda. He wanted to kick himself for forgetting to ask for her last name. Had he done that, he may have gone up to her room. He made a mental note to ask today.
He looked at his watch, and it was 9:45am.. Just 15 minutes, and she would be down, that is if she was punctual. 15 minutes later, 10:00 on the dot, he saw her get off the lift. Yep, she's punctual alright.. She was dressed in a beautiful dark blue and white sleeveless dress, that fit her perfectly in all the right places, with just a hint of cleavage.
He briefly studied her form. She was a lot shorter than him, about 5'0" to 5'1" Her dirty blonde hair was long, to around the middle of her back, with wispy bangs. She had a very curvy frame, which was very well proportioned.
She stood in the middle of the hotel, looking around, no doubt looking for him, so he stood up, so she could see him.
When she did see him, she grinned from ear to ear, and blushed a nice shade of pink when he smiled back.
"Well, good morning beautiful.. you're looking particularly lovely this morning."
Oh the things this man did to her insides.. she silently pleaded with herself to remain calm.
"Good morning Paul... And thank you.."
"Are you ready to go luv?" He asked.
"Yes, I'm ready.." Neither one seemed to notice that every eye was watching them as they walked out of the hotel.Paul walked her to his car, and helped her in, and soon they were off..
"So, Mandy, I forgot a very important detail yesterday.."
"Oh, you did?"
"Yep.."
"And what's that?"
"The rest of your name."
"Oh... Well, my name is Amanda Dawn Jacobs."
"Ahhh.... Lovely... I should write a song about your name..."
"Ok... What would it be, I wonder.."
"Hmm.... Let's see... Amanda Dawn, prettier than a song.. I wanna hold her in my arms, and play her all night long.." By now, Amanda had turned red, which Paul relished in."I don't think they would let you play that on the radio, Paul.." she laughed.
"Maybe not, but you gotta admit, it sounds good.."
"Yeah, it's got a beat, and I can dance to it.." Paul laughed at her little Dick Clark joke."So, where do you want to go?"
Amanda thought for a minute.. "Here, there, and everywhere.."
"Hey, that sounds like a song.." Paul made about mental note."Oh wait, I made a list.."
"Ok, so name something from your list.."
"The Tower of London.."
"Ok, to the tower!" Paul shouted. Amanda laughed.Paul was loving how she laughed at all his corny jokes. A certain other person always pointed out that they were just that, corny."
"Paul..."
"Yes..."
"You're really funny, you know that.."
"I am, am I?"
"Yes, you're hilarious.. I'm bout to bust a gut laughing.."
"You're pretty funny yourself Mandy.."Paul laughed back.
Amanda and Paul pretty much had the entire place to themselves, except for a few people, non of them under 40. That was good news for them. That meant that they could Wonder all over the place with no fans trying to jump Paul and rip his clothes off.It being a weekday, all the younger ones were in school. Paul was very thankful for that, as he wasn't sure how she would react.
