Faded memories Luke brooks fanfiction

Chapter 2

I gawked at him for a couple of seconds before my cheeks went red. "Luke!" I screamed, while running towards him. I lept into his muscular arms and inhaled the familiar smell, the scent of strawberries and cologne mixed with a warm sense, he always smelt so damn good. His arms were warped around me securely, I felt cozy in his arms like nothing could harm me.

It seemed like we stayed in this position for what seemed like forever, untill he pulled away and questioned me "What are you doing in Melbourne again?"

* Flashback *

"Bi honey be good for Aunt Barbra and be careful, ok honey?"

"I know mom I'm not 5 Years old I'm twelve I can take care of my self." I said coldly, "It's only three years mom I'll be fine! I already told you I can take care of myself!"

"I know you've always been so independent but three years will go by fast, I promise!" She grinned. "I hope it go's by fast" I whispered under my breath.

"Listen I have to go but you and your brothers are living in Australia for three years, have fun, enjoy living there, be young, and be good!" She reminded.

"Yeah whatever I know mom. Anyway have fun traveling the world." I said sarcastically.

"You know if I could I would bring you and your brothers honey, but you guys should get on your plane it's gonna leave soon."

"Ok mom, bye."

I said as tears blurred my vision and sprinkled down my face and hit the hard cold floor. "Don't cry honey I'll take pictures everywhere I go." She said as she embraced me in a warm hug.

"Bye kids I love you." She waved.

"C'mon Carter!" My eldest brother, Blake soothed picking me up and putting me on his hip. None of us were happy at my mom for "abandoning us" but we couldn't do anything away.

Soon we were already at my Aunt Barbra's house in Glenroy, Melbourne getting ready for our first day of school tomorrow.

Principle: "Welcome to your new school , I promise you will make a bunch of new friends and soon enough I know you will find your way around but for know this is Luke, Luke Brooks." He said pushing a brown haired boy infront of him I assumed was Luke.

"Luke will help you find you'r way around school and help you with anything you need." Mr. Bradley our principal spoke handing me my time table.

"Thanks Mr. Bradley." I grinned while walking out of his office with Luke by my side. We walked through the halls of school talking about random subjects, he was really nice and frankly the only one who wanted to talk to me.

"Hey Carter wanna come to my house after school?" Luke questioned wiggling his big fuzzy eyebrows at me.

"Sure I'll just tell my brothers that I'm going home with a friend and tell my aunt to pick me up at yours later." I smiled anxiously.

After that day me and Luke became inseperebal, we never left each others side, I mean he was my best friend! And we only lived a couple houses away from each other so when we wanted to hang out we just walked to each others houses!

I also got to know Jai, Skip, and James really well, but Beau was always like a big brother to me he was over protective over me just like my real brothers.

My brothers never really liked the brooks brothers or Skip and James so I spent most my time at the Brooks with all the boys and my brothers well they had other friends.

Gina was like my mom for those three years my mom wasn't present. I used to spend weeks at a time at their house and frankly my Aunt didn't care.

But the day before I was leaving to go back to Florida I was at Luke's house, we were just lying down in his bed talking when I got the guts to say, "Luke?"

"Yeah carter?" He replied.

"You know I'm leaving tomorrow and I'm gonna miss you guys a lot."

I said sitting up.

"Carter your my best friend I don't want you to leave." He frowned. "I'm sorry Luke but I have to go back to Florida, I have to see my mom."

"Dammit Carter don't leave, you don't even like your mom, she left you! Just please stay with us." He begged. He saw the tears start the swell in my eyes and I saw his eyes loosen, becoming weaker, and fill will all different emotions.

"Carter just pinkie promise you won't forget me and that we will always stay best friends and we'll see eachother soon." He smiled.

"I pinkie promise"

Then our pinkies were enlocked together.
