At any Best In Show competitions, there are three main sections, the first two sections have three rounds, and the last section is for seeing how well kept the pet is before announcing the winners.

The three rounds are, first round is being on appearance, were the pets will be judged on their looks and stance only. The second round is being on talent, were the pet will be judged on how many balls they can fit inside their anus that very from size and texture. And the third round is being on obedience, however this round isn't about showing how well behaved the pet is, but how well the pet shows submission towards their owner.

The pets will come in Divisions, from A - Z, and ten at a time. Each Division will go through their three rounds and ten judges will pick their top three pets from the Division, taking the number from 260 to 78.

After a thirty minute intermission, section 2 will begin. The pets will again be judged by their appearance, talent, and obedience, however closer this time and with a different set of only five judges who will take the number from 78 to 15.

After second thirty minute intermission, section 3 will begin. Each pet will be examined by a professional, before giving final judgement to the five judges, who will take into consideration of what the professional tells them.

Then the judges will decide on who's first runner up and wins $10,000, second runner up and wins $5,000, third runner up and wins $3,000, fourth runner up and $1,000, and who's first place and wins $20,000.

Men dressed in all black and have masks on are assigned to each one of the pets in Ella's waiting room. Ushers, Ella assumes.

A young man, probably, Ella can't truly tell, comes into Ella's section almost like a robot. He shows no emotion and it scares her.

He is a tall mixed man with a small afro. Not once does he talk to her, nor does he look her in the eyes. All he does when he enters Ella's section and takes off her cape before holding it in one hand while the other holds onto her leash.

When it's time to go, with a gentle tug, Ella is guided out of her section and out of the waiting room with everyone else.

Her heart pounds so rapidly and harshly in her chest that it's deafening, but she continues on, she has no choice. Her Division goes down multiple hallways before stopping in front of a door. They all wait next to the brick wall for a few minutes before the door finally opens and all of them enter.

The room is poorly lite, but that's because they're backstage. Ella knows this because she can hear things being announced and also a large black stage certain is on the left of her. There's also people running all around with headsets and pulling around long cords.

Ella's usher makes sure that she carefully and safely goes around everything before lining her on the other side of the room behind everyone else.

"Is everyone ready?" someone asks the ushers, which they all nod. "Good, the pets of Division F are going on in three minutes."

Ella swallows as she shuffles in her spot.

Don't worry, Ella, she tells herself, just remember everything Nicholas told you and everything should be alright.

When it's finally time for Ella to walk on the stage, she doesn't go alone, thankfully. No, her whole Division plus her usher all go on stage and stand in a perfect line. Ella blinks her eyes multiple times from the stage lights that brightly shine down on everyone.

It's not until she's standing still that she can finally see everything clearly.

Ella's in an auditorium, and a very large one at that. There's two levels plus balconies on the sides and every seat is filled with a person that has on a simple masquerade mask. There's no design, just the color black and even the clothes they're wearing is simple. Everyone looks the same, no one stands out.
