I'm finally done with my morning routine like showering and all that good stuff. With everything taken care of I head down stairs. I picked a shirt with a wight wolf on it, blue semi riped jeans, and a par of black vans. I left my brown hair done to show off my natural curls. My hair frames my face complimenting my emerald green eyes. I am also warring my cute silver wolf jewelry set  to go with my shirt; the earrings are of two wolf's howling, the necklace is a wolf s head with blue eyes, the ring is a simple band with wolf's running around it, and the bracelet also has a howling wolf in the center is connected by a brown cord for the band of the bracelet. As soon as I enter the kitchen with my piece of coffee cake from earlier, my dad starts laughing hysterically.
   
    " DiD..he..he... Did you dress like that on on purpose... Sense you know you don't have a wolf and your kekeke... and your wearing a wolf themed outfit and going to an all supernatural high school.. hoo". He laughed out barely making any sense in the process.
   
      I smile replying " Yes yes I did. I hoping you would get a good laugh and it worked. I want to enjoy to day sense today is such a hard day for us" replying. I went and hugged my dad in his seat at the kitchen table. Unlike most  people  we don't get depressed, we make a party out of my mom's anniversary. He talks about  her all the time, this makes it as if I actually new her.  I'm positive that he keeps some things about her to himself though. My dad gets the day off work to have breakfast with me befor school. We don't have breakfast together during the week because he works as a PE teacher in his buddies pack's high school which is the most elite school for the supernatural in the country. He was given permission from our Alpha to teach there thankfully. Alpha stated that he had no problem with it sense my school already had a PE teacher and there was no reason for my dad to not be allowed.
     

        "I love you, are we going to see Mom like usual today" I asked already knowing  it would be a yes. I go and sit across from my dad at the table. We always eat breakfast together then after school, we visit and bring flowers to mom's grave today as it is the anniversary of her death.
 

    
       " Maybe if we have time. I I have a present from your mo...m...other for you before you le...le.ave but you have to finish your breakfast first" He stutterers with a sad smile showing he didn't won't to give it to me but he new he had too.
 

    "Ok" I answer half shocked and half excited. I scarf down my cake and got some milk to wash it down. I washed my hands and held out my hands across the table with a wide smile my face ready to receive my present.
     " May I have my precent pleeeease?" I ask excited to get some think from my mom. In that instant my dad gave me a single envelope with a small box with a bow on top. As he gave them to me he looked so grief-stricken that when I went to ask him what was wrong he held up his hand to stopped me.
    "First read the letter then I well answer any questions" he said as he got up and left the room for some reason. I open the envelope and took out the letter, unfolded it and read.
 

          Dear Raylean
  If you are reading this I'm not with you and your father. I can just imagine what the pack has said about you and that they probably say you killed me when I gave birth to you just to be cruel. The way they think makes my blood boil with anger. When I was pregnant with you I was told the my pregnancy was a high risk that if I didn't terminate I would most likely die. I chose to have you even if I was to die. I had already loved you and as long as you lived I was happy to die. I love you so much I'll be watching over you no matter what.  I have to tell you about me family blood line now that I believe you are old enough to understand. Know I don't know if you have shifted yet but if you haven't don't wary you might shift when you find your mate like me. If you still don't shift it is completely alright don't worry. Our family has what you could call a special blood line.  The females in our family don't always shift but aren't completely human either. You probably don't understand but our family give birth to strong male children. Some of our families woman can shift but they either shift early or shift when they meet their mate.  Our family often are mated alphas or someone very important to the pack ,or there children are of much importants to the pack. Because of this our family had to go in to hiding  to protect our girls from greedy alphas. I tried to track down our family but I came up with no results I believe that you are the last of our blood line. This pack that you are in is the least from the best and I'm sorry for any of the hardships you have gone through. Today is your 18th birthday and I want you to not worry about anything there are other packs. Do what you think is best for you even if that means to leave and find a stronger pack.
