Adrien

After finishing homework I transformed and headed to the Eiffel Tower for patrol. I saw Ladybug leaned against the railing, I smiled in admiration of her beautiful figure and gorgeous smile. "Hey." She turned around, a smile tugging on her lips.

"Hey chat. Ready for patrol?" I smiled at her longingly, "Always M'lady." She giggled and we began to search the city for any type of crime. Once we knew the streets were clear we headed back to the Eiffel Tower and waited for the light to appear, signaling us we could go home.

Before the lights could arise, we both leaned against the railing at the top of the tower, enjoying the breeze that blew through our hair. "Hey chat..." I looked back at Ladybug, my cheeks turning a light red at her beauty.

"How do you do it?" I rose a brow, "Whatever do you mean bugaboo?" She frowned, "That! How do you do that!?" I arched a brow in confusion, "Call you bugaboo?" She sighed a nodded, "How do tell someone... that you love them..?"

My lips parted, "Y-you mean... Do you plan on telling a guy that you... That you love them?" My heart started pounding in my chest, aching with worry and hope that she didn't love another boy the way I loved her. I could see a small blush form on her cheeks, she nodded slowly.

Tears stung in my eyes, my heart pounding, making my suit vibrate. "W-who?" She sighed, "I can't tell you his name... But I don't think I should tell him. We just became friends even though I've loved him for a while. I just don't know if I can ever tell him. I just want him to be happy..."

A tear rolled down my cheek, yet I was completely silent. "I think it has something to do with confidence..." I said despite the situation, I quickly wiped away my tear before she could see it. "Maybe your right. Exactly why I can't tell him..."

I looked to the side, "Well, I don't know why you came to someone as pathetic as me. No one's ever loved me. So why take advice from someone who's feelings were never recognized?" Ladybug looked at me, "That's not true. Don't say that!"

"It is true. Prove me wrong then." She frowned, "Your family!" Tears stood stiff in my eyelids, "M-my mom's dead. My father doesn't care about me. And I don't have any siblings. And no cousins that live in Paris." Her eyes widened, "C-chat Noir- I'm so sorry I-- I shouldn't have--" I sighed. "It's okay. I know you didn't mean to."

I squeezed my eyes shut to prevent the tears from falling. The lights turned on as I extended my staff and headed back to the mansion, I could hear Ladybug calling me but I ignored it. There was pain in my heart that just wouldn't cease.

Author's note: just as he left, Ladybug whispered something that came to her mind, and was true in her heart. "Me." But the boy, has already left. And he didn't hear her.

I sat near my desk, finishing my homework. I couldn't focus, all I could think about was what Ladybug said... "I just want him to be happy." Should I just let her go, so she can be happy? Develop feelings for someone new? I sighed, I needed sleep. I closed my tired eyes, everything going black.

There was blue eyes... Beautiful blue eyes... Midnight hair... Pink lips... She looked right at me, through her long black eyelashes. A crimson blush spreading across my skin. It was beautiful... It was... Marinette.

I had decided it, Ladybug would always be in my heart. But if I had to wash her out, that was exactly what I was going to do. And Marinette could be the key... To my heart. I spotted her on a near by bench, my legs suddenly feeling like jelly.

You can do this Adrien! I kept walking towards her, gosh she was beautiful. "H-hey Marinette." She looked up at me, through her gorgeous blue bell eyes and long black eyelashes. My cheeks going a whole new shade of red. Her lips parted, then curved into a smile.

"Hey... Adrien." Was it just my imagination or did her cheeks turn pink too? Suddenly a bubbly pink surrounded her as she stared at me, her sapphire blue eyes piercing through mine. It was as if time has slowed down, and it was just us.

I had gotten lost into her eyes, her amazing blue bell eyes that put me in a trance. I blinked before I sat down next to her, taking a moment to process what just happened. "U-umm... I-i was wondering if you wanted to hang out some time Marinette?"

Marinette

My lips parted, first, I never expected him to ever talk to me again... Second, we had a bubbly cheesy moment like the romance in a book, and third... He was asking me to hang out!? I tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear, my heart pounding in my chest.

Author's note: if only she knew. ;-)

I hoped he couldn't hear the rapid beating, it was as if I was exposed. I bit my lip, preventing the squeal of joy to escape my lips. A small blush spread across my cheeks, I nodded slowly. "I'd really like that." I said, finally looking up from my lap.

I smiled at him, the bell ringing. I could barely fall asleep last night, chat noir was on my mind. We started walking to class, "W-what did you have in mind?" I asked, he looked at me with a slight smile. "We could go to the movies, and then eat somewhere after."

I nodded in agreement, "I just wanna get out of the house." Adrien admitted, I looked at him in amusement. I'd always known he was lonely, he lived in a mansion wth no siblings and a busy father. The thought of him alone and cold made me sad.

He asked me to hang out, right now, I needed to be his friend. I needed to push my feelings aside, even though this was my dream, I knew it would end soon. And I knew once I woke up, without Adrien Agreste I was just a plain, boring, ordinary... girl.
