Lihua had always believed that happiness blooms from within. Happiness is the secret to all beauty. There is no beauty without happiness.

She grew up with a positive notion, a force of energy that attracts the shimmering glow of kelidoscopic wonder, going through every day with in pursuit of happiness. Lihua loves the freedom, the state of living in the moment because things could happen anytime. She's a person full of emotions, waiting to burst in bright colors. So, it's quite fitting for Huang Lihua, a wielder with an emotion manipulation quirk called Mood.

Lihua was raised by her single mother, since her father had left before she was born. She also has a brother who took care of her; he also has Mood quirk that he always used to cheer Lihua up. His brother is one of the reasons why she has a cheerful disposition.

Since Lihua's mother was single, she had to work a lot of the time to provide for her two children. However, her mother couldn't find a high paying job which she had the qualifications for in Wuhan. Therefore, she had to move to Korea to find one. Luckily, she found a job that paid enough, but the job required long working hours. Lihua and her brother were sent to a carer's house whilst their mother was working. There, she made friends with the carer's daughter, Seongjun. They became best friends very quickly and got extremely close with each other.

Her quirk manifested when Lihua was seven, when she and Seongjun were in the playground, the latter tripped over and sports a bruise on her knees. Lihua, concerned, rushed to her side tried to distract her from the pain which magically worked. Lihua found out she has the same quirk as her brother's and it made her even happier. She uses her quirk to brighten people's bad days and share her happiness with them.

"Are we on for movie night?" Seongjun asks while they walk home after an afternoon of noraebang with their friends. It was a regular thing they do, just watching either new movies Seongjun had pirated from the internet or the cult classics (that are still pirated because let's be real, they won't buy the Blu-Ray).

"Yeah, you're in charge of the snacks this week." Lihua says, kicking a rock on the ground and it lands a few meters away. She grins at the other, "I want caramel popcorn and those cheese rings you brought two weeks ago."

"Of course, of course! We're gonna watch The Avengers: Endgame!"

Lihua stifles a giggle, looking at her weirdly. "Again? Didn't that made you cry?"

Her friend puffs her cheeks, pinky up as she swings her phone at Lihua like it's a weapon. "You cried too!"

"Whatever," Lihua chuckles, rolling her eyes as they stop at the intersection of the quiet street of their neighborhood. She lives two blocks away from Seongjun's, which is convenient for their frequent hangouts. "See you later, Orbit."
