One-On-One Failed Duel

The shout was definitely from Yunho, the half-blood son of Ares. Yunho, Minho, the son of Aphrodite, and Junmyeon were members of the directing board in SM camp. We usually referred them as the Passionate Trio. They were all in every dangerous quest and protection for the camp.

Junmyeon had been missing for two weeks. He was supposed to be at Jeju Island to inspect the rising sea level for 3 days. After one week without hearing anything from Junmyeon, everyone in the camp started to worry, especially us. All of us believed that he was abducted. More monsters had been attacking our camp lately, which meant that Junmyeon's guardian shield was weakening. If Junmyeon was in danger, the shield would be affected too.

When Junmyeon was appointed to be the guardian of the camp, The Big Three - Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades - blessed him with the guardian shield, which ensured that no monsters could enter the camp. However, 5 days after Junmyeon left, at least three monsters had been attacking our camp. Wounded, 6. Deaths, 0. We demigods were trained well.

Since then, the other two members of The Passionate Trio had also always fought, both physically and verbally, to decide who would in charge of the camp while Junmyeon was absent. If you put an Aphrodite child and an Ares child together, that wouldn't end well, due to their parents complicated past relationship. However, even Ares and Aphrodite had to give up at Yunho's and Minho's determination. Both stayed away from their fights to preserve their peaceful lives in the Olympus.

I wanted to ask Minseok how all of us should plan an operation to rescue Junmyeon, but Minseok had always been in the Directing Lounge all the time, remaining silent. Perhaps he was similar to us, too worried about Junmyeon that he began to construct a careful plan to rescue Junmyeon. If he had done it, I hoped that he would eventually tell us. Even we came across the tyrannical Kronos and in our operation, I would always be ready for it.

"Let's head to the Common Hall to see what's going on. I'm pretty sure it is just a same old story between Minho and Yunho." I told my siblings. The Common Dining Hall, where all the fests were always held, was located in the center of the camp.

I was correct. Standing in front of the hall was Minho and Yunho. They were both holding their swords firmly, and giving each other their deathly glares. The crowd of demigods were already there. People sighed, while others cheered for the upcoming fight. This was probably a hundred times they fought since Junmyeon's missing. Jongdae, Baekhyun, and Chanyeol was already standing at the front. Seeing me approaching, Jongdae waved at me, so I joined my friends.

"I'm sick of these fights. Do they even care about Junmyeon's whereabouts?" Chanyeol complained, glaring intensively at Yunho and Minho. Although Hephaestus rarely blessed his children with the ability to possess fire, Chanyeol's eyes were really sparkle fire right now. Similar to me, he must be angry at those two idiots and want to go find Junmyeon so badly.

"Urghh they need to act mature. We need a different kind of passion," Jongdae groaned.

"This need to be stopped," Baekhyun grumbled. True. Someone should stop this meaningless fight before it could get more serious, and perhaps, deadlier. No demigod in this camp could tell the limit of Ỵunho's and Minho's competitiveness.

"SHUT UP," Minho shouted. Suddenly, the whole camp, including Yunho, stayed in a deadly silence, including myself. Even the cheering crowd went in utter silence one second after Minho's shout. 10/10 for the son of Aphrodite's wise use of charmspeaking.

"No you shut up." Yunho yelled angrily after realizing that Minho used charmspeaking on him. "It should have been me. You robbed my chance. It's always me, only me." Yunho bellowed loudly

"Sunbaes. Stop." Doyoung called Yunho and Minho, but both of them did not even turn back to look at Doyoung. "Let's resolve this in peace. We need both of you to stay safe in order to protect the camp effectively."
