Ryan's POV:

"What is that?" I ask Delilah, not sure what we're looking at.

"Some sort of cabin or house I think" she says, looking at it closely.

"Should we check it out?"

"Yeah, I guess" she tells me, "we could probably get some pretty good shots in there".

"Okay" I say as we start to walk over the the cabin.

As we draw closer, I notice that it looks as though nobody has been here in years. There are overgrown patches of grass and parts of the roof and walls have began to fall apart and break.

We enter the cabin and take a look around. There is a book shelf full of books -obviously- and a couple of tables and chairs, four bedrooms, some clothes, storage containers, and a few utensils such as axes and cutlery.

Delilah has a look in one of the bedrooms and calls my name.

"Ryan" she says, "come here for a sec".

I walk towards the room and enter. There's dust everywhere, maybe the person who used to live here died? There are holes riddles through out the ceiling and walls.

Delilah is standing by an old wooden table, examining a book.

"Check this out, its some sort of diary or journal." she says to me, showing me the cover. It's red and has a title written on the cover in black ink that says:

'The Woodcutter's Wife'

Inside, it talks about a woodcutter and his family, and how they were close to starvation. Then one day, a traveller that turned out to be a mage asked if he could stay a night and in return, used a scroll to summon food for them all to eat. Each night the mage stayed, he brought more food for the family to eat, and the woodcutters wife began to fear that the mage would want something big in return. She told her husband who just said that they had been blessed with this banquet, and that if it weren't for the mage, they would have starved. One night while everybody was sleeping, the woodcutters wife took her husbands axe, and decapitated the mage. The names eyes shot open and he let out a scream, and put a curse on her before he died. This curse would make her rise after death and would be unable to die.

"Wow" I say. "Maybe this is why people warn us about going into the forest".

"Probably" Delilah says to me, a worried look in her eyes.

"We should go" I say, and we begin making our way out of the cabin and back to the village.
