164- Destined to find bts

So I'm subscribed to this celebrity news channel on YouTube and I have been for like 5 years now, it's called 'ClevverNews' (recently it's been like they've kinda been using Bts, they mention them all the time, but they're constantly getting shit wrong about them, but I try my best to see past that because I wanna see all the tea they're spilling about other celebs) I was looking through my subscription feed, about a month before I started stanning Bts and I saw a video from them that was called something along the lines of 'BTS reveal what their name stands for' and I got really curious because I was like "wait BTS? Doesn't that just mean Behind The Scenes? What else could it stand for?" So I watched the video and the girl that was hosting that video said something like "army's are probably used to Bts standing for Bangtan Sonyeondan, but the boys posted a video that suggest they're changing the meaning of their name to Beyond the Scene" and then I was like "idk why I watched that video, idk who these people are and I don't like kpop"

If you've read some of my old meme books, you'll probably know that I get homeschooled now because I was badly bullied in school and pretty much every day I'd refuse to go, but on one of the rare days my parents could get me to go, one of my very few friends came up to me and was like "I've really been getting into this group called Bts, do you wanna check them out and if they they come to the uk next year, do you wanna go and see them with me?" And I had completely forgotten about the video I had watched and was like "Bts? Who are they?" And she said that they were a kpop boy group, a lil bit of backstory, I had always kinda taken the piss out of kpop, because I hadn't really seen anything about kpop other than cute, weird, squeaky, ridiculous amounts of members and Gangnam Style, so I had always had the impression that that's all kpop was, I didn't realise that there was this whole other side (I also didn't realise that there were groups that's did cute concepts that were actually pretty good and I didn't realise that not everyone who does cute concepts has a squeaky voice) so when she said kpop I was like bitch wtf?

She explained to me how they were different and I agreed to check them out, it took me like another 2 weeks before I actually did

I watched the DNA MV, which had only been released 2 weeks earlier, for some reason, I can remember that it said "upload 2 weeks ago" for DNA, but I can barely remember my own name. Yeah, I don't know either

Then I watched Fire and I thought I had found god, but they were the only song of theirs that I listened to for the first few days of stanning them

I was at this same friends house and she started listening to War Of Hormone and because I'm a pervert and I love sexual songs for some reason and, as we all know, War of Hormone isn't exactly an innocent song, I loved it

When I got home, I watched all of their music videos to see if they had any more sexual songs, but I just found masterpiece after masterpiece

Once I had watched all of their MV's, I moved on to listening to their b-sides and I loved them, I couldn't tell who was who, but that doesn't matter😂

After 3 years of listening to their music, I decided I needed to rest

So what did I do?

I searched "Bts speaking English" and I was like 'holy fuck, then speaking English is adorable'

And I spent the next century watching clips of them speaking English, for some reason that's the first thing I do after I start stanning a new kpop group, I listen to their music and then search for clips of them speaking English. I did it with Bts, Blackpink, twice, red velvet, I don't know why I do it though

Eventually I moved on to learning about inside jokes and iconic moment, while still trying to figure out who was who, it didn't take me that long to figure that out though

To put this whole story short, I fell down the hole of being an army fast and hard

I think I might have hit my head a few time during the fall😂😂
