For the next few nights, Cole has been sleeping in the couch with Benjamin as they were 'finishing their show'. I tried to sleep out there with them the third time but ending up waking up in the middle of the night as I was uncomfortable.
We had two days before the wedding as Molly and I were finally getting our nails done. "So, how close was Cole and Benjamin use to be?" I looked at Molly as she was looking at her now painted nails. "They were always close but started to fade a year before Benjamin was taken from us." I nodded as I watched her, hoping she would tell me what happened.
"Why?" She set her painted hand down and looked at me. "Oh, just wondering. Cole wasn't thrilled to have him with us at first but for the past 5 night, they have been sleeping on the couches, watching their show." She slightly smiled to herself before looking back at the lady painting her other hand.
Molly didn't say anything else while we finished up our nails. She got white with rhinestones to match her dress as I simply got just got light pink, to match my dress.
"Are you ready, to get married?" I asked Molly as we walked out the nail salon and out to her car. "I'm beyond ready, just wasn't ready for this stress. What about you? Are you ready for Cole to propose any time soon?" Molly unlocked her car as we got in, I light chuckled. "We already talked about marriage."
She rolled her eyes as she pulled onto the highway. "And you guys are boring." She mocked as she already knew how I planned my life out, when we met in high school. We were never really friends that hung out outside of school, or just would of knew Cole was her brother instead of meeting him in the bookstore 5 years ago.
"What's more boring? Being tied down because of a piece of paper or freely living your life?" I was never really down for marriage and I never expected to get married, Cole and Molly both knew that. "Are you one of those answers?" We both laughed as I playfully hit her arm. "Shut up." I rolled my eyes as she still laughed a little.
"What are the plans for tonight?" I shrugged my shoulders. "I didn't know there was plans for tonight." I said, clearly confused. "Oh you know what, I think I'm gonna be sick tonight. Sorry," I faked a cough as I looked at Molly, "I'm can't make it."
"You're so annoying." She complained as she slightly yelled. Both of us just started to laugh. "Dinner tonight. Me, you, Cole, Gage, and Benjamin." I looked at her as she looked at me as we sat at a red light. "What? No Ryan?"
"It's a sibling dinner." I nearly choked as I started to take a sip of my water. "I'm not a sibling. Maybe I should hang out with Ryan tonight. Keep him company as the real sibling hang out."
"You're not a sibling to Cole but you are to me and Gage, and now Benjamin." Molly quickly backed herself up. "Ahh, yes. A sibling to a boy I just met a week ago." I joked more as Molly rolled her eyes with that smile she always wore.
"See you later." I unbuckled myself as I looked at her. "Not if I get killed first." I say my famous line to her when she always says that, she just rolled her eyes once more as she never really liked me joking like that.
