I held onto my breath as footsteps stopped right in front of the door. I felt like I wanted to cry, for the first time tonight I actually wanted to cry. I would of never thought crazy shit like this happen to me, you only ever hear about it in the movies but for this to actually be happening...
I let out my breath when the two feet at the door left. I wanted a couple seconds before standing up and making a run to the living, where Cole and I were before this all happened.
I quickly grabbed my phone off the couch and looked for Molly's contact before calling her. I looked around making sure Benjamin wasn't anywhere close by. "Hello?" She answered laughing. "Molly. Molly, where are you?" I whispered the loudest I could to her.
"Like 20 minutes away, why?" The happiness was still in her voice. "Do no, and I repeat do not come home please. I need you to call the cops, like right now." The laughing in the background quickly stopped. "What- why. What's going on?" You could hear how she quickly got worried.
"Just do it. Tell them there is a intruder and someone was stab." I quickly spoke. "Who got stabbed? Are you guys okey? Where are the boys?" Molly asked all these questions instead of hanging up. "Goddammit, Molly! Just do what I fucking said!" I yelled before hanging up.
I turned around to see Benjamin staring at me as he smirked. "You know, Madilyn. They won't be in time, but you know what they will be here for?" Benjamin walked back and forth in his stop, both his hands behind back. I swallowed the salvia in my mouth as I stared at him.
"A dead body. Maybe two." He pulled his hand out from behind his back to show a gun in his hand.
I closed my eyes. I was frozen and didn't know what else to do but at this point, I didn't mind dieing. I already was bleeding half to death so him shooting me, wouldn't be the worst thing.
And the sound of a gun been shot was heard throughout the huge house.
