Kathalin looked out off the roof lazily swinging her legs off the side. Having just yelled at her roommate for disturbing her with obnoxious complaining about the simplest of things she was to put it lightly not in the best of moods. As she sighed she heard the roof door creak open, she didn't bother to look back, Kathalin could already guess who was there.

"Hey, you two.", Kathalin replied lazily, she took a sip of her hot chocolate and looked up at the stars."So, what's up Kat?","Shouldn't it be obvious? I needed to see you guys", Kathalin didn't look at Zecel but instead continued to like at the small twinkling lights hanging in the sky. Zecel chuckled and plopped down next to her. He turned around and signaled for his sister to do the same.

No matter how simple her problems were her friends never failed to try and make her feel better. She was messed up a screw up if you will but they didn't care. Without taking her eyes off of the stars she put her arms around Zecel and Zambia."Can we just look at the stars? You guys just being here has helped me calm down a lot!", Kat smiled as she said this her dimples becoming prominent in the soft glow of the moon.

So that's exactly what they did. They stared at the stars admiring the twinking specks about 20 minutes into there gazing session Kathalin began to point out the constellations of the winter season. As night turned to day the three of them knew they had classes that would be starting soon so as they walked down the stairwell they bid each other goodbye and headed to their different floors.

Kathalin wished that night could have lasted longer but she knew life would have to continue as sad as that may be. But, she knew that even if her days got rough, stressful, miserable even. She knew she would always have...Starry Nights
