Giovanni drove around for hours trying to cool off. He had turned his phone off, not wanting to be bothered with anyone else for the rest of the day. His usual go to method for releasing his anger had been to take it out on Tiffany, and she had been more than willing to comply. He had done that for years but now he had Giuliana in his life and needed a new way to release his rage. Anthony had been provoking him since he was a little boy, but now he was a man and he wasn't going to be treated like a kid anymore. Now Giovanni was prepared to become the Boss by any means necessary, even it meant prying the title out of his father's cold, dead hands. He'd learned to turn off his emotions when it came time to kill one of his men, and he knew that if need be, he could do the same when it came to his father.

While Giovanni was trying to get ahold of his emotions, Giuliana was impatiently waiting for her husband to return home. He was rarely ever late for dinner, and if he was going to be then he would call and let her know.

"He's never this late," Giuliana said as she dished out chicken parmesan for herself and Laura.

"Maybe he's wrapped up with work," Laura tried to ease her cousin's worries. "I'm sure he's fine, sometimes things come up."

They heard the front door open and Giuliana hurried to see who it was, hopeful that it was Giovanni, "Gio?" Unfortunately it was just Vinnie, "Oh hi Vinnie, I thought you were Giovanni."

Vinnie looked concerned, "He's not here? He told me to meet him here."

Giuliana shook her head, "Do you know where he could be? I haven't heard from him all day."

"I haven't talked to him since this morning, but my mom called me and said that he and our father had some type of disagreement. Apparently it was pretty bad, Giovanni broke a window."

Giuliana was stunned, "Is that normal behavior for him? I've never seen him do something like that before."

"It takes a lot to get him to the point of no return. But don't worry, he's learned to control his temper, so he's not going to come in here and start trashing the place," Vinnie tried to reassure her. "Our father likes to goad Giovanni, try to see what will make him snap."

"Why would he do that? Who purposefully tries to make someone, much less their own son, blow up like that?"

"Anthony Graziano does," Vinnie shrugged. "He likes to get a reaction out of people, I think that's how he entertains himself."

Giuliana ran her hand through her hair, "Where do you think he's at? He hasn't come back here at all."

"I have a few places in mind, I'll call Dante and tell him to try and track him down," Vinnie pulls out his phone and quickly calls his youngest brother, telling him what's happened and ordering him to find Giovanni as soon as possible. When he hung up he took in Giuliana's worried expression, "Don't worry, this will all blow over and Giovanni will be back here soon."

Giuliana swallowed the lump in her throat and nodded, "Alright, well are you hungry? I have dinner ready in the kitchen."

"Sure, thanks," he followed Giuliana into the kitchen. Laura sat at the table waiting for them and offered a shy smile when she saw who was following behind Giuliana. "Hello Laura, it's nice to see you again," Vinnie greeted nodding his head in acknowledgment with a slight quirk of his mouth.

"Hello Vinnie," Laura replied. "Will you be joining us?"

Vinnie nodded his head, "Yeah I am." He grabbed the plate that his sister-in-law was offering him and took a seat. "Haven't gotten any new dishes yet?" Vinnie took notice of the paper plate that his dinner was being served on.
