Five hundred years ago,An Ancient Seal holding what seems to be the devil itself was destroyed by the Red Witch causing a wave of magic to cover the world of Enacta.This spread a type of virus that spreads across the corpses of the diseased causing them to move and seek out healthy people left to turn them into one of them.

We call Exanimi,deprived from a word of the olden folk.After that the world has fought for survival against eachother.Witches,ShapeShifters,Ice Folk,Dragonoids and many more have fought for their lives against or with each other while trying to avoid these creatures.

Only 10% of the population is left uninfected.

{Year 8791}

"Wake up Lui!"said Shono. Shono and Lui were both survivors of the virus and members of the Black Moon Camp.Lui was a witch the only one in the Camp in fact.It was a survival camp filled with Demons and Shape shifters so she wasn't quite accepted.The fact this all started with a witch didn't help her case either. Shono was her only friend among the group he stuck his neck out for her multiple times.There were A lot of people that hated her there ever since the outbreak witches have been killed like the ancient times in a place they call salem but unlike then these were real witches.

"Ugh."Lui groaned hoisting herself out of bed and going to the bathroom to get dressed.

"Seriously you need to get your sleeping habits in check."Shono said.

"What do you mean?"Asked Lui. "You wake up in the middle of the day and go to sleep at 1:00 A.m. you need to get in a better sleeping habit than that."Said Shono

She had multiple glares sent her way while she walked down to look out with Shono there gazes pierced through her as she tried not to cry. She came to this camp when she was about 9 and ever since then they have all despised her but the leader of the camp, Elisa Helton, the great great granddaughter of a powerful sage,A title given to a being that practices the holy acts, allowed her to stay.No one messed with Elisa she was the strongest of them even if she seemed weak at glance.She has been forced to put one member in there place multiple times, Yun Eryuk, he was one of the demons of the camps and he loved getting people angry almost like he fed off of it.

Elisa always seemed to have an answer when the Exanimi came she created a magical barrier to keep them out.Because of this the Blood Moon camp became the strongest of the bunch. All looked up to her and luckily she stopped them from executing Lui maybe out of kindness or out of her own selfish gains. No one ever really knows what she really thinks but something about her feels wrong.

Elisa got sick recently meaning the barrier got weaker Lui took on patrol to make sure nothing got through the barrier along with Shono.

There were not that many Exanimi around lately but every now and then one or two would bang their heads against the barrier and get a hand or two past it.There was no rule preventing going outside of the barrier only the fact that certain death awaited them outside of it.

There was no need for expansion the area was about 1.123 million acres about one fourth of an ancient city called New Jersehas or at least thats what its remembered as by the texts left over from said time.

Shono and Lui walked around the boarder surrounded by the greenery that grew above the ruins of a building created in the olden days the name was unknown seeing how the texts were not translated into Omkon yet.

But something was off.

When Shono and Lui were walking past,the barrier had a giant hole in it growing bigger and bigger with thousands of Exanimi pushing their rotting,molding bodies thru it there skin peeling off some even infested with insects bugs crawling into every hole and cavern on them.

Shono took a gun and shot it into the air for back up, but it never came. There was a fire that broke out in the town people were screaming and running. Yun busted thru a wall in a car with Elisa in a box shape shifted into a rabbit. "Get in Shono we don't have that much time!"He yelled as Shono got in and he pressed his foot on the gas.

"Wait what about Lui!"Shono yelled stopping Yun. "She probably caused this she can die for all I care!"Yelled Yun.

Shono forced Yun to turn around to follow the running Lui. "Jump!"Shouted Shono. Lui jumped and held onto the railing of the car kicking away Exanimi doing her best not to get bitten.Shono pulled her into the car as they drove as fast as they possibly could.

Lui's eyes were wide open.She knew that most of the people there hated her but she never thought that someone would try and kill her off in a way like that.Then again Yun wasn't the nicest of the bunch.Still she couldn't get over the fact he would just blame all of this on her and leave her to be eaten alive.

Elisa was fast asleep breathing heavily she was hit hard by her illness maybe that's what caused the barrier to break.

There was a long silence.No one spoke a word.

Elisas finally woke up. "What's going on?"She asked.

"This stupid witch broke the barrier! We need to just leave her before she causes our demise too!"Yun yelled. "I didn't break the barrier!"Lui shouted. "Then who did!"Yelled yun.

"I did..."Elisa added in eyes wide open.Everyone stared at her. "I had no idea this would happen.It must have broke when I got sick, I should have been more careful."She said curling up into a ball.This was nothing like her, Elisa was always strong and never let anyone see her upset seeing how she has such a weak appearance.

Lui went and tried to do something to try and give her some sort of comfort, to say SOMETHING but it just ended with her sitting next to her not sure what to do.

Shono stared out the window as Yun drove as far away as possible.

The peaceful times were over.

The Struggle for Survival has started.
