"Come on, Peter!" Called Hannah "I thought my beta was meant to be fast!" She teased.
"Not all of us are the fastest alpha in the world, Hannah" he replied in a grumble.
Hannah scoffed at that. An alpha- yes, that was true. Fast- also true. But she had a feeling that many people would have something to say about her being 'the fastest alpha in the world'.
After about 20 minutes more of sprinting throughthe woods, both of them stopped, panting for breath.
'Let me out' whined Leah, Hannah's wolf from the back of her mind 'I've been aching for a run all day' Hannah rolled her eyes and shifted quickly into her wolf form, her beta quickly following suit. But just as Hannah was about to relinquish control of her body to her wolf, she heard something that made her ears prick up.
A distressed whine sounded, about 20 meters away. She only glanced at Peter for a second before they both took off, racing through the trees as fast as lighting towards where the sound had come from.
It did not take long to find it's source. There in a clearing was a large but thin looking wolf, collapsed, shaking on the floor. It's breathing was quick and ragged and it's fur was matted with blood. Over it stood another wolf. This one was bigger than the first, although a little smaller than peter and Hannah- probably a delta. It's coat gleamed and the only stain on the creature was the blood covering it's teeth and claws. It bore down on the cowering wolf, slowly approaching it.
Suddenly, the first wolf saw Hannah, those deep brown eyes were full of pain and pleading as they looked into hers.
Finally, she stepped forwards with a terrifying snarl and spoke.
