Peter's POV
I watch in awe as my alpha steps towards the male. She snarls in a way that only the Queen of Wolves can as she takes a step towards the delta male. He whips around to face her, startled, and aggression and fear battle in his eyes as he and Hannah stare each other down.
"Leave." He tells her "this is none of your business. I may do with rogues what I please."
A soft chuckle from Hannah- one that sends shivers down my spine and makes me oh so glad that I am her friend and not in the place of that wolf.
"It is my businesses if you happen to be doing so on the territory of the moonshadow pack" she says. Her voice is calm but the aggression is clear behind her cool mask. "Especially in the presence of it's alpha" at these words, the delta male takes a step back, fear clear on his face.
"What can you do against me?" He replies incredulously "you are just a weak little female" he taunts.
Anger flairs through me at these words and i a take a step forwards.
"Peter " warns Hannah "stay back. I can handle an arrogant little delta"
I grudgingly take a step back as Hannah addresses the delta again " I give you 2 options." Her voice is still calm, there is no alteration in her tone whatsoever, she seems completely unfazed " 1: you will leave my territory and this rogue now 2: I kill you right here, right now. I really don't care which you choose but you have 10 seconds to decide or I tear you apart where you stand."
The delta growls at her, showing his teeth and staring in pure hatred before turning around and racing away through the trees.
"Coward" Hannah snorts, amusement glinting in her eyes. But this quickly fades as she looks down at the wolf cowering on the floor.
Hannah sits before it and speaks very softly "now you also have to choose" she says " you may either stay here and, by the looks of you die very soon or... you may join our pack. You will no longer be a rogue and we will look after you. Nod to join our pack." She adds quickly, seeing the wolf's throat is injured.
The wolf looks up at her and nods slowly and I feel Hannah mind link to other members of the pack to meet us at the path with a cart large enough to carry a wolf. Then she scoops the wolf up on her back and begins to run,slower this time, through the trees.
