Shadow was flying through valleys until he saw the Aslophel mountain.According to rumours,Fleetway lives in the cave of Aslophel mountain.The sun is nearly up.So Shadow started to pick up more speed.He finally reached the Aslophel cavern.

Shadow: Hello?

???:hhmm? Oh, you finally came!

Shadow saw the very hedgehog he had seek for advice.

Shadow bowed respectfully towards the yellow hedgehog.

Fleetway: now now....no need for the 'we're not worthy bow' what reason have you come here?

Shadow: i've came here to ask you.....who is my mate? If i do not find my mate i'll suffer the wrath of the blood moon.

Fleetway: hmmmm....good question....child....do you know the story about why the blood moon shall punish you because you do not have a mate? If you dont know the story then why try to find a mate?

Shadow was to stunned to speak.This guy is wiser than he thought.

Shadow: May you kindly tell me what is the story?

Fleetway: of course my prince....It all started 3 centuries ago----

Shadow: from the day you were born?

Fleetway: no no a month before im born...

Fleetway: A certain vamphog was born from the moon,the moon was bright,blue-ish silver.It was very rare for a vamphog to be born from an element.This Vamphog was also partly vamphog....like me for instance....anyways....then..she fell in love with a werehog,they were both happy...but one day..a vamphog confess to the VWhog (vamphog-werehog)that he's in love with her...and do you know who was that moon baby VWhog?

Shadow: no

Fleetway: her name is Thalinia.

Shadow: thats my pet bat's name.

Fleetway laughed so hard a rock fell from the cavern ceiling and miss Shadow 6 cm away.

Fleetway: Thalinia, is the Daughter of Alabrichez,god of the moon (fake mythology so dont go searching to the internet to find more about my fake mythology!).Her hair was as Silver as the moon,her eyes are as purple as Amethyst.A lot of admirers adores her,but since she is in love with some one else.They cannot take her.But a certain Vamphog will do anything to have her.This certain Vamphog's name is Alabaster.He isnt the most attractive vamphog,but he is a 20% attractive.He is yellow with green eyes and he has blue stripes.He found who Thalinia was in love.He thought the Werehog was gonna eat her but the werehog kissed her.That werehog's name is Brendan.The werehog has auburn fur,warm red eyes,with green tips on his quills.Alabaster was conquer with jealuosy and hate so he took out his dagger and with a stroke of luck he killed Brendan,the dagger pierce his heart.Thalinia was so upset she cried.Alabaster was pleased and want to take Thalinia's hand in marriage.But,alas,Alabaster was disintegrated by Alabrichez.It broke the god's heart to see his daughter in pain and sorrow.So,he punishes the vamphogs and the werehogs.That,there will be a sort of day where everyone must find a mate and do not take each others mates,if not,Alabrichez shall punish you slowly and painfully.The end.Now,does it makes sense to you child?

Shadow: yes,but may still know,whom is my mate?

Fleetway: ahhhh,i see, you want to know your mate so you wont be killed by Alabrichez? Or you want to be loved?

Shadow: i want to be loved..im desperate...

Fleetway: i see your telling the truth and those words are from your heart?

Shadow: yes..

Fleetway: very well, your mate, dont be surprise if i tell you this but she is a, werehog.

Shadow was stunned,shocked and anxious.At fist he'll do anything to know who is his mate.Now since Fleetway had told him who his mate is.He is not so sure anymore.

Fleetway: Child,i know its hard for you but fate is fate.They've chosen you the most beautifullest werehog of all,fur like sapphire,eyes like emeralds, the voice of an angel.She is perfect for you.Even in werehog form you should find her still beautiful.

Shadow was now sure this mate was his.

Shadow: Thank you Fleetway, you are wise and friendly.

Fleetway: remember child her fur is as blue as Sapphire itself and her eyes are as green as emeralds and her voice is like an angel.You'll recognize her that way..

Shadow bowed and flew away trying to avoid sunlight as much as possible.

(Normal POV)

Its morning,unlike most vamphogs,werehogs can go into the sunlight but in our hedgehog form.Sonic was walking down the village and saw Manic, she was buying fresh cattle meat,the butcher said the cattle meat was a gift from the goddess of hunting,Endiane,herself.No one really believes that,but when you tasted it,you WILL suddenly belive that.

Sonic: Hey Manic! Wheres Scourge?

Manic: Hi Sonic! Scourge is at home getting ready for mating season.

Sonic: Really? Why?

Manic: you know when people get married usually they mate right? But Scourge and i agreed that when Mating season comes,we could mate all we want! So right now he cant wait for mating season!

Sonic: Does everyone have to mate in Mating season?

Manic: of course! You dont want to get punish by Alabrichez!

Sonic: what does the moon god have to do with this?

Manic: long story but i'll tell you in a shorter version.

Sonic: kay..

Manic: one day Alabrichez had a daughter name Thalinia.She was half vamphog and half werehog.She was very attractive to those vamphogs.Her silver hair flowing down her back,her purple eyes shining like amethyst, she is very pretty.Everyone adored her.But no one can get her because she said she loved someone else.A vamphog name Alabaster,wanted her no matter what, so one night he followed Thalinia to the woods.A werehog with auburn hair,red eye and green tips on his quills came to Thalinia.At,first Alabaster thought he could prove himself to her that he can protect her from any danger.But,alas, he found this is whom Thalinia loved and cared for.Alabaster,thres his dagger that pierced the werehog's heart,the werehog's name is Brendan.Thalinia cried because of her broke heart.Alabaster was killed by Alabrichez,for vengeance,Alabrichez made the celebration of blood moon for both Werehogs and Vamphogs.

Sonic: Isn't that the story why vamphogs and werehogs always have war?

Manic: yes,its the same story.

Sonic: well...i'll be going now...bye Manic!

Manic: bye Sonic!

Sonic: wanted to go to the mountain Aslophel to meet Fleetway.But she had another idea.She went to her father's castle.Only her,Scourge and Manic are allowed to go in the castle.Sonic went inside a golden door.There lies, the Statue of Mursica, goddess of music,future and past,poetry,medication and love.Sonic approached the statue with confidence.She placed a bronze bracellet with a yellow,blue and red gem stone on it.Before you ask the goddess something,you must first give an offering.Sonic place the bracellet infront on the hand of the statue and watch how the bracellet melt.Suddenly pink wisps came out of the statue's mouth.
Musica: what do you seek princess of werehogs?

Sonic: who is my mate?
Musica: you dreamed about him last night, he is the very vamphog whom you've seen.I sense he had known who is his mate as well, tonight shall be the blood moon, he is in the forest burned by the sunlight.Walking in shades of trees, go to him help him..Then tomorrow you shall mate with complete desire.

Sonic: thank you, o fair goddess Musica.

The wisps dissapeared and Sonic went out of the door.She needs to find this mate of her's
