I couldn't believe it. My hair dye turned my dark brown hair completely blonde! Blonde just doesn't go well with my skin tone. My eyes were wide open from the shock and my hands were tinted red. How am I supposed to go anywhere with this horrendous colored hair? I was trying to dye it red because I always change up the colors, but I guess I must have left it in for too long.
My phone keeps beeping letting me know I'm getting constant messages. I'm walking over to my phone when I see that it looks like I've gotten about fifty-seven messages from Allison. I roll my eyes because she does that every time I don't answer her within ten seconds.
"Hi."
"Wanna go to the club?"
"Please."
"It'll be fun Ella!"
"C'mon, you need a break."
"Really."
"Let's goooooo!!"
"PLEASE!"
"Your my best friend, so you don't have a choice."
"You have to go with me!"
"Okay well I'll see you later!"
"I'm picking you up at 6.30"
"Byee Ella!"
Allison is my best friend so I know I can't deny her offer to go to the club. Even though I much rather stay home, and hide my ugly blonde waves. Maybe I'll shave it before I leave. I send her a quick message saying that I'll be ready by six.
I walk over to my closet and search through all my clothes to find the perfect dress. I feel like I should wear a red one. I mean I hear that they attract all the hot boys. I pull out my dark red colored dress and slip it on. I throw my flip flops in my closet and put on my black pumps. This is the perfect outfit.
I walk into my bathroom and connect my curler. I spray some heat protectant on my hair and brush through it. My curler heats up fast and I get to work on my hair.
By the time I finish it's already five. I grab my phone and money and head downstairs for something to eat before we go. I walk past my living room and into the kitchen, taking the bread from the pantry and grabbing the turkey, cheese, and mayonnaise from the fridge. I make my sandwich and sit down to eat it before Allison gets to my flat.
It turns 6.20 and I hear the doorbell chime throughout my flat. I open the door to see Allison in a royal blue dress with black wedges, and she looks stunning. Her blonde hair is braided into a crown around her head and her makeup looks amazing.
"Ah! Oh my gosh, El we're twins!" she says excitedly.
"Yeah, I messed up my hair dye.." I pout. Allison walks through my door and sits at my dining table.
"Well it looks good, Ella. You should keep it that way." she says while taking her phone out of her clutch and turning it on.
"I don't know, I think it makes me look like I've laid in a tanning bed for three years, Ali."
"Don't worry about it. It makes you look like a beach goddess." She laughs. "Well, let's go Ella, don't want to be late for the club!" She runs out the door and towards her car. I follow behind her and lock the door. When I reach her car she has Ed Sheeran's album X blasting though the speakers.
We drive around roads that I've forgotten about and in less than fifteen minutes we're parked outside of a club with an anxious line of hoes and dicks waiting to be let in. I can't believe this place used to literally be my second home. I don't regret it, but it wasn't the best thing in the world whenever you spent half your week at a grimy club in downtown LA.
